Dollar General — Local services in Lockport

First time ever coming into this store today very bad experience with the cashier. . I went in using coupons and was doing two transactions with different items in each transaction. I did my first transaction and went back to the end of the line to do my second transaction. The gentlemen in front of me was telling the same cashier something about couponing that he did not like. They laughed together and she even offered to take his items to his car for him he declined. So when it was my turn she scanned my items and upon taking my coupons one didn’t scan. She then told me she was not gonna take my coupon that I was not going to get anything for free. I explained to her that the subtotal was nine dollars and some change and that my coupon was only $1.50 that the items would not be free. She then grabbed coupons from my previous order and told me I had already used a coupon on these items . I told her those coupons were from my first transaction and tried to show her the coupons I was using for the second transaction were different. I told her if she could void the transaction and start over with the coupons I gave her so that she could see I was only using one coupon per item as it states in the policy . I told her I was only using one coupon that was a duplicate for the two items in this transaction.. She then got mad and told me to read the policy and she then told me to read the coupon that they have limits. I told her if she could read the coupon because it states limit of two like coupons. She then started yelling at me that I was trying to commit coupon fraud and I told her that I wasn’t. She was telling me she was going to call the police on me and I asked her why was she accusing me of coupon fraud. I told her it was ok to call the police because I wanted to talk to them as well. She kept telling me get out of my store she kept saying you people you people over and over. I have recorded the situation and will look into what I can do about this horrible situation. Two employees, Kim and Heather, made my shopping experience AWESOME!! They were EXTREMELY helpful, respectful and SUPER NICE!! They went ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure I didn't feel rushed!! They LITERALLY allowed me to continue shopping, even though it was way past closing time!! Heather told me NOT to rush because she & Kim still had plenty to do, so I was welcome to stay & shop! It was the MOST relaxing shopping trip, EVER!!! Even though they were technically closed & were cleaning up the store, they continued to assist me with finding things & getting stuff I couldn't reach!!! When you visit this store, give Heather and Kim a high five!! These 2 women ARE Angels, sent from Heaven!! God bless them, both! Dollar General Corporation should be very grateful to have 2 of the BEST employees in the WORLD!! Both of them deserve a raise and a bonus for the excellent customer service they provide!! I believe that DG should do everything in their power to retain their employment!! I also think it would benefit DG, GREATLY, to instruct ALL employees on GREAT customer service!! I don't know how this store has any good reviews at all. I believe they are racist!!! Everytime we went in there we were followed around as if we were taking something. I didn't care becasue i wasn't the first few times, but after the 3rd time it was like it's harassment. Kept that to myself.. Told corp.. On top of that they stole my coupon. Rung it canceled the order and failed to tell me i would lose my coupon. The store isnt really clean and doesn't have items in stock all the time.
