Krispys Nashville Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Lockport

Had it for the first time yesterday, definitely will be back! Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a Mac and cheese chicken fries bowl. They were perfect. The chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy, even after a 25 minute commute back home. My 1 and 3 year old loved the Mac and cheese chicken bowl, unfortunately. I was hoping they didn’t like it so I can eat it all. I also grabbed a homemade banana pudding, apparently the owners wife makes them and they are phenomenal!

Wish I would have took photos before eating, but I was a little too excited. I’ll post photos next time!

Parking: 5/5, no issues was able to park right in front of the store

Cleanliness: 5/5, still pretty new and clean tables to sit on

Price: 5/5, if this was pre-Covid I would have said price is a little high, but it’s fair pricing for todays market.

Atmosphere: plenty of seating, no loud music blaring preventing you from having conversations, workers are nice and helped me pick what i wanted without feeling rushed. And I was...

The second time I went there. This place truly beats those big chain chicken places. it's worth me driving from Plainfield. First time we had it, was a week ago. Right after my lady gave birth to my Baby Boy. She wanted something like an American Sandwich, Krispy, flavorful, she loves chicken and some fries. Her family had a restaurant so they know their food and exactly what they want 😬🤷‍♂️. We tried their chicken sandwich and let me tell you, we loved it... Both times The Spicy/Hot & Mild Chicken Sandwichs were Krispy, fresh and so delicious, the sauce and coleslaw they put in it, hits perfect... their chicken tenders are juicy, Krispy, and so good. Fries are good addition as well. The portions on both the sandwiches and the tenders are pretty good, I'd say on the larger side. So if you are hungry hungry, you'll be satisfied. Prices are not bad at all, it's worth it. The young men behind the counter are pretty cool and seem professional. I'd recommend this...

I wouldn’t go back.

I read a good amount of negative and positive reviews so I always give a new place the benefit of the doubt. We were less than impressed. The pictures online of the food look so good yet the chicken was dry, fries were bland and the inside of the store was a absolute mess. The hot sauce was okay but not very spicy. Portion of chicken wasn’t very big either.

As far as the Mac and cheese…I’ve eaten better that I’ve made in a microwave.

At the end of the day the food was below average and for that reason I probably won’t be back.

Also that picture was how we received our food. In two bags with finger printed greasy spiced stains all over them.

Krispy you guys need to step up your game. I hope we just catch you guys...
