Arrons COULD NEVER!!! Story time! I ordered a washer from this specific arrons during their holiday time (they had a 0.01 (penny down) discount on all thing) when I originally ordered a washer (online) i got a call from mike and the regional manager Alex and they stated they had the washer in stock (lies) and says there going to deliver it and send me pictures.. BUT TO MY SURPRISE; THEY SENT ME A PICTURES OF A DRYER! Needless to say, they canceled my original order and made me fill out a brand new form threw the phone (scamming) and tried to make me pay $200 upfront and completely ignoring the penny down deal! When i told MIKE (manager of the store) “i want the penny down” he signed and said “ok, ill see what i can do”…Mind you we were already approved! After 1 1/2 weeks; ON OUR DELIVERY DAY, mike calls and says they cannot deliver due to apartment issues that never existed and have nothing to with THEIR delivery…Me and my wife took what he said as face value and said “ok have a nice day and hung up on him” because at that moment we figured out Alex (the regional manager) and Mikes (the manager) little scam operation they had going on…after ending our contract with arrons about 30 minutes later a personal call from Mike came in asking for $300 and 3 months of payment upfront; in order for us to get the washer!(black mailing and ransom)..i Instantly laughed at him through the phone and hung up on him then PROCEEDED TOWARDS Home Depo and ordered this beautiful Samsung that was WAY cheaper, has 1 year warranties and overall better year and quality then arrons whole stock and at $900 to pay off the whole thing…(im a millwright, so personally MONEY IS NEVER A PROBLEM BC I MAKE 100k per year but when you try to DELIBERATELY SCAM AND ROB SOMEONE AND THEN TRY TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE YOUR HELPING THEM. THATS WHERE ILL WASTE YOUR TIME!! Never got my 3 cent deposits back from the 3 forms i did with arrons back to back; so i will be sueing!! Read moreOverall, whenever I have used this service it has been a pleasant experience. However, I also have never returned an item. I knew that due to personal reasons we would not keep the item forever. When I called to request a pick-up Mike asked why. I explained(not that I should have to), that we would not be needing the item any more. He gives a long breakdown of the buy out, maybe I can use later, etc. All of the sales pitches. I get it, it's his job. Again, Made it clear I didn't need it. After making my last payment, all in the same conversation he again, tries to get me to buy out or keep item. I declined and got off telephone. A week before my scheduled pick-up (today), I call just to confirm. I spoke with Jennifer(I believe that was her name). She confirmed the pick-up and was very nice. I get off the phone with her & shortly afterwards I receive call from Mike. He says "I see you are scheduled for a pick-up next week, may I ask why?" At this point, I'm furious and I tell him no, that I've already explained this when I first scheduled and I really don't want to hear it. He then proceeds to tell me that I don't have to be rude. He was just trying to help me. I said, no, it's rude that I have to keep telling you over & over & over again that I no longer need the product. Very frustrating & annoying. Now I know how things work when you want to return. This, I will not be doing again. No one should have to keep explaining themselves over & again to anyone and especially when it's their money & their choice. Completely...
Read moreOk, I'm giving two stars because they do seem very nice when you are in-store at this location. However, they do have a tendency to call excessively when it's almost time for your payment. Usually, a week before my due date, they begin calling from early morning until evening. Mind you, I work part-time and i am a full time college student. They'll call while I'm at work, they'll call while I'm in class, as though you are available all day. And if you're unable to answer, they'll call your references. Those phone calls can feel very intrusive, and harassing. Which makes the merchandise almost not even worth it. Things like that don't retain customers, it repelles them. I'm paying off my purchase in two days, and I'd Initially planned on buying something else from them but after this experience, it's not likely. At one time it was only Aaron's and RAC that allowed customers to make purchases without credit, but this is no longer the case. If you want to make a purchase that's beyond your budget, you're probably better off just saving for it and avoiding the head ache or buy from one of the other stores who offer the same services.
