It isn't the fact that Oscar listens to what you want and also gives you advice, but it’s the fact he DELIVERS!!! I’ve gone to too many stylists who listen to you and then do whatever they want to do, then you end up going home with a bad haircut.

After years of going into NYC for my hair, I wanted to find someone in NJ, but couldn’t find anyone who would cut my hair the way I wanted. I’ve spent a couple of years of trying to let my hair grow out and telling the other stylists what my goal was, only to have someone either cut it way too short, or just snip some hair and then tell me to style it with Bobby pins, meanwhile, not even giving me a decent shape. It’s been a nightmare! Then by chance and through a random meeting, I saw a woman who had the same haircut that I was trying to achieve. This woman was emphatic about Oscar

I called and made an appointment. Oscar is an excellent hairstylist and very knowledgeable. He actually listens & very intent on pleasing you as a client. It has taken me forever to find a decent curly hair stylist in NJ, And better yet, I don’t even have to go home and rewash my hair and style it myself hours later. He knows how to cut hair just like the New York stylists and his prices are really decent as well. He doesn’t try to oversell, nor does he gouge you. It’s been a little less than a month and my hair is actually getting longer. He’s got “the touch”, or as us Latinas would say, “Buena mano”.

To top it off, he’s got a great personality! I was so pleased with what he did that I ended up bringing my best friend to get his haircut as well.

Oscar is absolutely amazing!! I struggled embracing my curls my whole life, never having anyone to teach me how to properly take care of it or knowing how to properly cut and style my hair. When I met Oscar all of that changed!! He has really helped me understand how my hair works and is always so forward and informative with how to properly take care of my curls and which products work best for my curl pattern. Oscar also takes into consideration my feelings on how short I’m comfortable with cutting my hair. He always asks the style I’m going for and he’s exceptional with colors!!! I’ve dyed my hair a bunch of times with him and my curls have never lost their bounce or have gone unhealthy. What I love about Oscar, is that he keeps it real and always suggest the best recommendations that will keep your hair healthy!!
