DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE! They are a great company for teenagers and children, but very unorganized. Do not expect professionalism from them. I tried to order a Wii U from a advertisement I saw from them. It got cancelled twice before I forced the order to complete by re-sending an email to their customer service. After which, I received a very vague email from an automated response. Saying my order had been processed. That was it. I had no idea if they had any in stock. I had no clue if my order would be shipped the next day or even if I would ever get it. I joked with a friend who I saw his review (Kellen Whetstone) and it says the same thing as mine. I thought, well his was a special occasion, I can trust Gamestop to work this time. My order is different, I thought. Save yourself some time, GO ELSEWHERE, do not order anything online. I even went into their store and the gentleman was very kind but could not look up my order because it was a "Gamestop Warehouse" order... So back on my quest to find when and if I was the owner of a new console, I called their "customer service" I WAS ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR. So I thought maybe they were just busy that day. I called the next day early. I WAS ON HOLD AGAIN FOR 30 minutes. I am sorry if you are a kid who likes to buy used games, but from a professional standpoint Gamestop will leave you high and dry. Do not order anything online and if you do expect the lowest quality of customer service. I never got to talk to anyone about my order, I am about customer service. The employees at Walmart were more helpful thank these goofs at Gamestop. Which is saying something, you would expect better from a gaming store, vs Walmart. Read moreEncountered a stupid policy here that was not about to bend to reason. Not surprised GameStop is struggling financially.
Ordered a sale game online to pick up in store. Went in that same night to pick it up on the off chance they had it in stock and just hadn't sent me my notification for pickup.
My time was tight, and I didn't see the game on the shelf where it should have been. The employees were busy, too, so I decided to leave for the errand I had to get to, figuring they must have had to ship it in from off site.
A week later still no sign of the pickup notification.
When I realized it I checked spam on the off chance that the purchase notification made it to me but the pickup notification didn't. Sure enough, there it was in spam from the day of my order.
Went in next time I was in the area to see if they still had it waiting for me even though the notification said they'd only he it for 24 hours.
They had it in the drawer. Sweet.
But at checkout, they tried to charge me literally double what I'd agreed to pay when I ordered it online.
I pointed out the error, even pointing to the sticker on the game case showing the price I ordered it at.
They wouldn't bend, saying it was policy that if the game was picked up after the sale is over it is sold for full price. Even if it isn't my fault that I didn't know it was available for pickup during the sale.

Read moreToday I went in mid afternoon to purchase an item, went in grabbed the item went and stood in line to purchase, another customer was trading multiple items an Xbox, Nintendo switch, and a iPad, not that it matters what but hey just being specific, I stood in line waiting and waiting thinking it wasn’t gonna take long maybe 15 to 20 min which is ok but that wasn’t the case, only one employee working today and many customers walked in even walked out after waiting in line after myself, a quick purchase that I thought would take maybe 15 min or less turned into about 40 min at least waiting, waste of time really poor customer service even when it was my turn to pay didn’t get no apology absolutely nothing, don’t know if the employee could of told the previous customer if he could wait and just took care of myself and the other customers ready for purchase and leave or what the policy was but it seemed like the process for the trade in was time consuming and the employee had to do it over again a few times, I was respectful through the whole time didn’t say anything but really upset and more after hope they can fix this issue or even they even care about customer...
