Acme Beach and Bike — Local services in Long Beach Township

This place is good. We were staying in Surf City and realized last minute we wanted to rent bikes for our family. I tried calling bike places closer to our location but couldn’t get in touch with any of them. So I drove to Acme based on the reviews that they deliver, and once I got there, I was helped immediately by Zach, the owner. Very friendly, very prompt and found us bikes for our whole family (my husband. I paid around $500 for four bikes including a trailer for my 5 yr old for a weekly rental. I started the rental on Tues, when we got there. Zach told me I could keep the bikes until that Sunday, but they came and picked up the bikes that Fri. So we only enjoyed the bikes for 3 days yet paid for a weekly rental. They also took my helmet (which I brought from home) back with everything else. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the best experience with Acme Beach & Bike Rental! Their customer service was outstanding from start to finish. We rented bikes for our whole vacation and it ended up being the best decision we made. I had a bike, my husband had one with a toddler seat for our daughter, and we brought my son’s bike from home. Walking it was way too much—especially with little ones in tow—but the rental bikes were the perfect happy medium. They were comfortable, easy to use, and made getting around such a breeze. Went to the location at Beach Haven Gardens to rent a bike as my usual rental shops were fully booked. Prices were high. The staff was not exactly friendly, nor all to cooperative despite my very cooperative demeanor. Certain comments by staff definitely were rude or sarcastic. Doesn’t help that the prices when compared to my usual rental spots were high. Unless the spot at Beach Haven Gardens, or their other locations are your last option for a bike rental, I recommend steering clear for cheaper options, and more...
