Spray Beach Bagel N Grill — Restaurant in Long Beach Township

The Swiss and the Cheddar Jalapeno bagels here are hands down the best bagels I've ever tasted, but they don't come cheap. I checked the overhead board for prices before ordering. Bagels were $1.90 apiece, $22 per Dozen, & $11+ per half dozen. When ordering I was told there would be a "slight" upcharge for the swiss & jalapeno cheddar options. I ordered a dozen and a half (16 of which were swiss & cheddar jalapeno) and grabbed a tub of butter (@$6) which I believed would cost me $40 plus a slight upcharge. Since slight literally means small in degree or amount, I expected around .20 cents upcharge per bagel. It was actually $1.10 extra per bagel for a total of $3 per bagel. That is an additional 60% per bagel, and not at all "slight". So, 1.5 dozen bagels and a tub of butter was over $60.00. I don't mean this to be a negative review of the bagels or the service. In fact, the bagels were great and the counter person was very pleasant. While I love to support local businesses, and am aware that prices increased everywhere we ate this year (Barry's, Parker's Garage, and The Black Whale), I cannot see the justification for being charged over $60.00 for 18 bagels and a...

My name is Diane. I live in Upstate NY. I was at this bagel place this morning called BAGELS AND BEYOND in Long Beach NJ..... I left my wallet. I called back 3 hours later and thankfully it was found. I asked the owner to please send it back to me. And he was exceptionally helpful, nice, companionate and a true human being. I can not thank him enough. He could have made me come all the way back. But instead he said don't worry I will handle everything and make sure it gets to you. PLUS have me sign for it so he knows I received it. For everyone out there that is a TRULY GREAT PERSON. PLUS THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL we ate there every day. . I truly urge everyone to go to this place just to meet ONE HELL OF A PERSON....

The girl at the counter was very rude and entitled. I come here every summer but the atmosphere has changed, I walk up to the counter only to get told that “I wasn’t speaking to u” then to get pushed to the back of the line and they didn’t even say anything to me to come back up. Finally after waiting 20 mins I go to the counter to order my two breakfast sandwiches and get told “do you expect me to know what you want that on” when the hangover helper clearly says on the menu “on a brioche bun”. Then I order my ice coffee, once I get it I went to the coffee station, the creamer came out like literal slime, and my coffee takes like dog water. Awful experience, better you rude...
