I live around the corner from The Fabric Barn. I see it everyday but never ventured into the store. I started another DIY project of re-uphostery of the seats of my dining table chairs. I googled the project, youtubed the 'how to' and ran in circles trying to source the material ie.: fabric cover, cotton fabric mesh, fabric lining net, the stuff I need to replace the old worn seats. I thought the material could be easily obtained at HDepit or Wmart and stores of that sort-NOT. So it seemed like anything remotely had to ordered online but i need to see it, touch & feel and explore options. I needed a real store thats in Long Beach and not the high deserts or downtown LA. There is parking! Can be rare in Long Beach. Both front and back. I believe, though front is parallel parking. This place has a wide selection of fabrics and ribbons in particular. They also have a wide variety of other crafting supplies. I went for some craft foam for a project. They also have a lot of party supplies: balloons, utensils, table clothes/runners. They have a wide selection of high quality fake plants. There's a lot of craft tools, I got some pliers. There were wood craft supplies.
