My college aged daughter asked for a shopping spree to Molly and Zoey for Christmas. We were prepared to spend money and drove over an hour to do so. This would not be or first time leaving with bags of clothing from this store - my daughter happens to love their merchandise and there’s nothing like it back home. There was not one other customer in the store while we were there. The young sales girls were clustered together talking, did not acknowledge us upon entering and watched us gather ARMFULS of clothing to try on. After at least 45 minutes of wasting time shopping, we were dismissively and unapologetically told that the fitting rooms were closed. They just gave off such a snippy and unwelcome vibe like we were bothering them by being there. Did they not think to inform us of that fact while we were pulling stuff off the racks? And why aren’t there signs everywhere informing customers that the fitting rooms are closed? When traveling over an hour to shop, coming back to return is not an option. Two years into this pandemic, when all other stores are allowing you to try on, why are fitting rooms closed? I just don’t understand the logic of trying clothes on there and contaminating them with Covid vs taking them home, contaminating them there and bringing them back. In the end, the salesgirls watched as we returned all the items to where we found them and walked out…never once offering an ounce of help and didn’t care in the least that they lost a major sale. My only regret is not dumping the clothes in a heap and walking out. It definitely looked like they needed something productive to do. Must be nice to collect a paycheck for being useless. I’m just now reading all the horrible reviews with similar experiences. How is it that the service aspect of the store hasn’t been resolved after years of complaints? Maybe a good start would be to hire a grown up manger or two that know a little bit about customer service to break up the teen employee social club atmosphere. Seems pretty...
Read moreFirst off let me start by saying I have NEVER had such bad customer service in my life. I shopped on 9/26 at the Molly and Zoey to the left and picked up a few pieces. Fitting room wasn’t open which was okay and understandable because they had a 2 week return policy. The girl was nice and helpful. I went home tried everything on and went today to return items that I liked but felt I didn’t need. I’ve never walked into the other M&Z (untucked) so I decided to take a look around before returning. I walked up to the counter to be greeted in a discourteous manner. I told the girl I just had a return of three items and she responded with a snarky remark stating she couldn’t return one of the items because it was final sale. Another one of the items I was returning did not have a tag and that was how I purchased it so she rang the one top and told me have a nice day. I asked her well what about this one that was how I purchased It a week ago- she accused me of wearing it and trying to return it. She then stated it’s not from this store you can come back tomorrow as we’re already closed and go to the other store next door. They had another 5 minutes before closing mind you. This girl continued to go on how they are supposed to write on the receipt if there was no tag- and I said okay that’s not something I would know. But thats not my problem. I asked to speak to the manager who was watching this whole scenario as this rude child was belittling a customer. And she had nothing to say or stepped in to help in any way. The girl threw the bag at me and went back on her phone. I then asked what her name was and she said it was Caitlin. Found out her names not Caitlin it’s Katherine. Or CAT. I don’t know how this child was raised but she had no respect, kindness or empathy towards a paying customer. I will never shop @MollyandZoey again. And will be returning the $200 worth of items I purchased. All...
Read moreFirst off. Beautiful store, its some really nice pieces. Unfortunately because of the unprofessionalism and the lack of good customer service that you should receive in a retail environment, I opted not to purchase anything. Now, there are 2 of these stores. The store that I'm speaking of is the more casual clothing store. The ladies working are not approachable, not inviting, talk amongst themselves and not the clients. The young lady at the register was very rude and when she called the Mgr, she displayed the same rudeness. I decided to look at the reviews and guess what?, I'm not the only one that thinks that there is an issue here that needs to be addressed and looked at with a fine tooth comb. Customer service and satisfaction is desperately needed in this location along with some proper training, coaching, and development. Myself, being in an executive level, this should not be tolerated. If you care about the business of your company, please address immediately, if not, you will be changing the name of the company again. Let me also add the just dressy location is a total 360. These young ladies including the Mgr was very helpful, easy to communicate with, and made sure they fulfilled the needs of their clients with such importance and enthusiasm. Maybe we can place some ladies in this store to get a feel of how a location...
