Mountain View Cemetery — Local services in Longmont

My mother loved Mountain View Cemetery and wanted to be there on her death. My husband, having progressive supranuclear palsy, died young and he is there as well. We have planted perennials there and watered them and cared for them. But 2 weeks ago, the weedwackers came…the succulents, the yarrow, the English daisies, the ferns all mowed to the dirt to make room for winter artificial flowers. I’m very disappointed at how difficult it is to find a loved one here. Via either the cemetery website or a third party, a series of numbers corresponding to the location of a grave is given, but the cemetery map as well as the physical location within the grounds does not help to correlate them. Our family spent several hours and eventually had to call someone to assist us. Another family was in the same area of the grave yard experiencing the same problem when we were there. There's been a water leak at the foot of my fathers grave for 2 months at least. When I call the management they give excuses but don't fix it. The emotional toll on my mother is high. It's immoral and it's bad business. Do yourself a favor, don't bury anyone you care about on this plot of ground. They can take your money and dig holes to bury folks, but the the same back hoe they use for that, apparently can't dig up a broken...
