I took a diamond and emerald ring to him to get it repaired. He said come back in 2 weeks. So 2 weeks later I went back. He said he needed to talk to me. He told me they were having trouble finding the quality of diamond and emeralds that had fallen out of my ring. He said come back in 2 weeks. So 2 weeks later he said it wasn't ready because a guy that was working on it, stole the jewels out of my ring and ran away. He said come back in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later he said it still wasn't ready. At that time I got very angry and told him I wanted to see it. He finally brought it out, it was not my ring! It looked like a cheap gum matching ring. And he said that everything he had told me so far was a lie. He said it broke all to pieces and couldn't be repaired. I swear this is absolutely true. I took the ring but didn't pay for it...

I would recommend this place over anywhere in Longview. Prior to here I went to multiple stores with enough cash to purchase almost anything in the store. I was ignored, talked too in a demeaning manor or told I essentially couldn't afford what I was trying to purchase. As soon so I walked into here to purchase a piece of jewelry; I was approached immediately in a very cordial manner. Multiple people greeted me and asked what I was looking for and without hesitation showed me their selection. I purchased what I wanted, they wrapped it for me and had a small pleasent conversation with who seemed to be the jeweler. This will be a place I will go to without question whenever I decide to purchase anything...

I was referred to Jim Bartlett by my sister. I live in a large city and I was just overwhelmed with the amount of fodder there was around purchasing an engagement ring. Amy, one of the staff, reached out to me by phone and asked the right questions. Shortly thereafter, Amy sent me a picture of the perfect ring. We ordered it, set my diamond (which has been in my family since the 1940s) and we picked it up. The ring is PERFECT!
