This was astonishingly disappointing. I bought a Groupon, scheduled an appointment and went in for my service. Before I even sat in the chair and received a consultation, she asked to see my voucher saying “this is how I get paid”. She then continued to redeem the Groupon with still not even having started my hair or talking about my hair. She said she needed pictures, not words to provide my services so I looked up pictures. There was trouble getting her to see in the pictures what I was looking for so we decided to eliminate the color and I’d just get the cut, etc. she told me she felt uncomfortable because we weren’t “vibing” to move forward. I then requested a refund and she said she only gets $20 from Groupon so that’s all she could give me or products. I responded that won’t work. I deserve my entire refund as we never even completed an entire consultation. She refused. Now I have to try and figure this out with Groupon. My Groupon should never have been redeemed prior to service. After looking through reviews, I can see I’m not the first to deal with this. I went to the police station after to get advice on how to continue responding to this because I feel I’ve been ripped off. It seems many people have been and this groupon scam needs to stop. Not even 1 star was earned for...
Read moreI would give a zero if it was an option, and let me explain why. I purchased a Groupon for this establishment - a way to try a new salon with a little savings. I was unable to attend my appointment due to a last minute call off, I health care professional in a field where a call off means patients won’t receive their treatments so this translate down to a very Long shift. I noticed a call on a quick break from the salon I informed them of my situation apologized for my error in not canceling properly online, where I was told it is not ok and I replied well I’m very sorry but my patients lives are far more important than my hair color I had scheduled, and hung up with complete shock that a company- during a pandemic would have no empathy for a Nurse. So I received a voicemail from this horrific salon informing me that I can longer use my Groupon if I do I will have to pay a fee on top of a cancellation fee, and then would need to contact Groupon and see if they can still honor it. I am in complete disappointment and disgust by the customer service here. I am beyond upset I was looking forward to little self care. So my advice would to be go where you will valued as a person- not a...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I do not give places bad online reviews, but this was an especially bad experience.
I bought a Groupon for a haircut from this salon. Groupon listed it as in Avon, which is about 10-15 minutes from my house. Once I bought the Groupon and scheduled my appointment with the salon, I found out she moved to Sheffield Lake, 30 minutes from my house. I decided to go anyway since I could fit it in as a long lunch.
When I got there, she informed me that if I wouldn't take off my mask she would not do my hair because she "would be touching me" and didn't want to be "liable" if I was "scared" or "uncomfortable." She also refused to wear a mask.
I explained I was simply following current state COVID-19 regulations. When I attempted to confirm her understanding that COVID-19 is a respiratory virus caught through the air and not by touching, she said, "No, it's about touch."
I confirmed that she was unwilling to use a mask and was refusing me service because I would not take off my mask, and I left. I am out a lunch hour, mileage on my car, and gas money. And I still need a haircut! Do not give this place...
