K Cream Korner — Restaurant in Lorain

Worst customer service in the county!!! I have always been a fan of their ice cream, and love supporting local business, but I also believe you should treat your customers with respect! The wait staff messed up my order and blamed me for the mistake, competely unwilling to fix it. I called their store when I returned home, and spent 10 minutes dealing with a manager/owner who belittled me further. I explained I was on medication that caused confusion (while having a condition that does so also) and could very well have messed up my own order, yet they continued with disrespect. He laughed when I asked for another cone. He offered "some sort of discount" instead. He also continued to blame me for the mistake. He then said "how bad could it be if you've been here before and liked it?". I'm sorry, but that is not how you deal with displeased customers. They will NOT have my business ever again. Went to K-Cream Korner for the first time. A new girl was being trained at register she was super nice. She repeated back the order and we repeated no nuts. She repeated it back. Then my daughter received her ice cream with nut’s. We asked nicely for it to be remade. A worker named Tori came back and got lippy with us about repeating the order. The newer girl had repeated back no nuts and we agreed. The worker then kept repeating that we need to listen to the repeating order. We did there were literally multiple people who heard it. She then made a deal about how it’s an extra charge. We didn’t care just wanted our daughter to get what she asked for. For a first experience I’m heavily disappointed in the customer service. Very nice. We visited the town on vacation and drove past this place and had to stop . If the opinion of a 3 year old matters this place is awesome... In this case he is right . It was so good we had to go back the next day . The soft serve chocolate taste just like a frosty from Wendy's.... The hard scooped ice cream is really good too . The second time we went .We brought the whole family and I think we tried every flavor of hard ice cream they had and everyone loved it. The cookie monster is awesome. The staff was super friendly. If we are ever back in the area we will be sure to stop here . In this busy world this is a great throw back spot to when times where good and people were nice.
