This Apple Store is in the Westfield Mall, which is a great location and can be quite busy. We happened to come on Black Friday, so we did have to wait for an available specialist to help us upgrade my iPhone. Even though Evan was new, he was quite helpful and friendly. There were managers walking around and checking in to see how things were going and if Evan needed any assistance with anything. There were certain steps taken. First in assessing the condition of my iPhone, external and internal. Then, getting the contract through AT & T. Transferring of pictures and then getting an appointment with the genius bar to get everything transferred from my iPhone 14 Pro to my new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Evan assisted us with getting a new phone cover and screen protector. They have the coolest machine that makes putting on screen protector flawless and without air bubbles. The staff with the Genius Bar were able to finish earlier than expected. We were walking around the mall while we waited. Overall, from Evan, other staff and the managers, it was a pleasant experience with good customer service.

It's on the 2nd Floor! Use the stairs, escalator to go up, or the elevator or whatever. Parking is really easy in the mall, except for like the week before Christmas. LOL. Customer service was great. There was a guy who was helping someone else, who quickly gave me a head nod, to let me know he'd be with me in a second. And he was. Checked in, and then waited about 2 or 3 minutes to see a tech specialist. Stacy!! You're the best. Really patient, and understanding. Also very intelligent and knowledgeable! She helped me unclick a random feature that got turned on accidentally, which made the iPad do this weird thing. Basically, I had to click on something, then double-click it again for it to work. Pain in the neck while typing.. each... indivual.. letter. Oy! But Stacey fixed it with just a few clicks in the general settings menu. The store is pretty clean. They do have the security guard there in case you're worried about your safety and all that. Actually, I like seeing the mall in general hired more security guards. So kudos to you.

I recently attended several workshops at the Apple Store, and the experience was fantastic. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help, creating an environment that was both educational and enjoyable. Each workshop was well-organized and covered a range of topics, from basic device functionality to advanced creative applications. The instructors were patient, answered all questions thoroughly, and provided practical tips that were easy to understand and apply. The hands-on approach allowed me to get a real feel for the products and their capabilities, making the learning process much more effective. I left each session feeling more confident and inspired to make the most of my Apple devices. Overall, the workshops at the Apple Store exceeded my expectations. They are a valuable resource for anyone looking to enhance their skills and knowledge. Highly recommended!

The employees are always nice and helpful, but there are many issues with this store.

First, it is EXTREMELY busy. I have made appointments and still have to wait a while. It feels like being part of a herd of cattle, with the person at the front is acting like a rancher directing you to a table to wait. It's like being at the doctor's office. Why make an appointment if you're still forced to wait

Second, there has not been one time when I have taken something for repair where it was done properly. Every time I have had an iPhone repaired, they never seal it properly. I end up having to pay $100 and go through an entire event to have a completely working phone. After the first time I had issues, I now always express this to the workers. In return, I am always assured by the same standard BS answer that they do the same thing as a factory seal. It's a bunch of malarkey. In talking with Apple Support on the phone, they told me that they do repairs with lasers. I mentioned this to this location, and they looked dumbfounded by this concept.

Most recently, they had to order a backup phone for me in case they broke my phone in repair. Once it came in, I went back to Apple. I still had to wait to drop off my phone after I was told I wouldn't have to wait. Also to note, when I initially took my phone to get repaired, I mentioned that I had a question about my MacBook. They told me to come the first hour of opening when I returned to drop off my phone, and they would do a walk-in for the MacBook. I did just that, and they told me that I would have to wait an hour and 15 minutes to even talk to a technician. I just told them to forget it.

I took my MacBook Pro for repair for a screen issue. After waiting an exorbitant amount of time for the part to come in, I took my computer for repair. My computer was in repair for almost a month. One day short of them having to replace the computer, they called for me to get my computer. When I went in for pickup, I turned on the computer, and it was worse than what it had been prior! The technician realized this and took back my computer for additional repair time. Ridiculous! Now, there's a problem with the hinge. To be clear, I am careful with my laptop. On a regular basis, it stays inside my home. I do not have children or pets either, so there should not be this issue of being "hard" on the product.

I'm literally over it. I try to be nice, but it gets old. At least when you have to wait to see a doctor, they prescribe something to get better. With Apple, I take my "sick" products in hopes of repair, but they end up needing to be replaced or having to be re-admitted for triage. It's very disappointing, and I am hoping that Apple realizes that there is a problem because people are busy and do not want to live at Apple. This location should provide Murphy beds because customers could literally take naps with the amount of time this store takes to get things done. It's so bad that if something minor is wrong with any of my devices, I just live with it despite paying for Apple Care. In fact, when people ask me about going to Apple, I say that going "takes hours of my life that I will not get back."

In summation, the store is overly crowded, overly stimulating, and hours of my life to which I never seem to get back to have poorly done...

First things first, when I called apple to report experience had at the topanga mall location the first thing the senior advisor said on the phone is "the topanga mall location in canoga park ca has one of the highest rates of complaints in the company. So unless apple is not taking any action against that store then they already know how horrendous the employees of that location are. For over three hours I had been called a liar, disrespected, yelled at, belittled and more by several members of the topanga ca apple store employees. Most of whom said they were members of management. What should have been a swift efficient device exchange that had already been documented by apple turned into a 3 day ordeal that has cost me over a 140 miles of gas, 3 days of time, and way too much patience in keeping my composure dealing with that 'retail team'. Their deplorable behavior is so atrocious that even the senior advisor whom I had on the phone the entire time gasped and shouted in shock as to what she had heard.

The ENTIRE experience is disgusting and apple should truly be ashamed to employ such a horrendous group of people. Most specifically the manager with the beanie and neck tattoos. As a Black man I deal with experiences like this way to often. I never thought the same experience would come from apple. A completely irreparable, disgustingly disappointing, set of employees who I wager cost the company way more than it fails to realize. I have launched premium locations for multiple wireless telecom companies both high income/as well as low income communities and I can say without a single doubt that if had employees acting erroneously as every single member of that location does they would be out the door before thr amount of reviews I see here. Somebody in corporate needs to hear about this. The entire ordeal is so unbelievably over the top extra in the worst ways beyond imagination.

I have already written a physical letter to apple and am looking forward to their reaponse. I intend to make sure these individuals are held accountable for their actions AS WELL as they amount of unnecessary stress they no doubt cause so many people. I am in the process of migrating my company and teams out the Apple ecosystem to Microsoft and samsung branded solutions already . A true...

Worst Expierence EVER!!!!!!

I came in after purchasing an iPhone 4s earlier in the year for $799.00. I came in to see why my phone was not working. The Genius Bar appointment was made at 10 am for 12:10pm. I entered the store at 12:05, and I sat down at the Genius Bar and was approached by an Apple Employee at 12:15. I was told that I had lost my spot and that I needed to reschedule my appointment. So after a few minutes I received an e-mail saying that I had a new appointment for 12:35. At 1:10pm I was finally assisted by the most unhelpful man. He tells me that it's AT&T's fault my phone isn't working. Then he goes to take my phone apart, and he comes back saying that my phone is working properly and that my issue is strictly a carrier issue. After he takes my phone to the back the second time, he says that I have water damage on my phone and that the damage is to blame. This was the most shady experience I've ever had in my life.

First the fault was all my carriers, and than mine. Never once did they claim any responsibility.

I feel this disreputable company is only getting more backstabbing towards it's clients.

They will do anything to make you have to pay more money. I wouldn't invest anymore of my hard earned money in this waste of a consumer's buck.

The callous and mean demeanor makes me ill. I use to believe in this company, but apparently they make profits and not client satisfaction. I feel remorse for ever doing business with the good people of Mac.

If you were thinking about getting any mac product, realize that they are extremely sensitive devices that the store will not repair if you let even the slightest amount of defect occur.

A defect so minute that even the trained eye, must strain to see. Thisa makess it very difficult for anyone to imagine putting their cash into this losing product line Mac a waste.

If you cannot even look out for your customers, and you demand to rip off people, I'm sure I will live to see the end of Steve Jobs brilliant company. The writing is on the wall. The rats on board are too big to abandon ship so lets just sit back and enjoy the mass drowning.

To the owner of this Mac Store, thanks...
