Red Door Escape Room — Local services in Los Angeles

Kara MADE this escape room experience INCREDIBLE!!!! Even with the red door not listing specific enough instructions with landmarks on how to find them- Kara walked us through it while on the phone. I can’t remember the last time I could even feel or say this about an employee so she brought some hope to me that not everybody seems pissed off their working or pissed off their working where they are. Oh yah, also LOVED the room too lol! Only con was there wasn’t enough of a “story” and I’m the type of person who likes to HAVE a story regardless of what it is ;), and it’s just TOO dark. I’d also like something more than just writing on the screen to indicate we solved a clue! Many clues we didn’t even know if we got it and kept working on them. Place and room is totally a blast and worth it! Kara made it even More Worth it🙏🙏🙏 Thanks for caring enough to hire somebody like her red door! Says a lot about you as a company! Xoxo

UPDATE! Aug 20,2025 It appears red door Topenga breed great employees and awesome escape room guides:) This time we got “Tiana” for DECLASSIFIED” ( which is now our favorite room so far) and she was really sweet! We ALSO got to see Kara too lol so now we asked if next room we do- the hardest room we hear- can the two of us have our OWN personal GUIDE?? How cool would that be?! I was surprised to find out this escape room red door DOESN'T change their room themes!!?? So I guess everyone’s a FIVE X MAX visitor to Topengas red door escape room? Not the greatest business model but more power to um being able to stay open from 5 creations! Declassified was GREAT! Do it! Xo ps - they stop their late late escape room time next week I heard and the last room booking with move to 10pm. Still awesome this place hasn’t caught the go-to-sleep-early-Valley-thing going around since covid. I’m grateful. We’ve done every Red Door Escape Room across California, and this location was the perfect grand finale! We traveled all the way from the Bay Area just to complete our Red Door journey and WOW, this one felt like home the second we walked in.

From the start, the experience was seamless, welcoming, and perfectly orchestrated. But what truly made it unforgettable was our game master, Grantas. He was absolutely spectacular—the perfect blend of supportive and mysterious. He gave us just enough help to keep the experience extremely challenging (as we hoped!), but also made sure we stayed on track and were successful with just the right amount of time left. It felt like a real triumph!

We had a mix of both adults and kids in our group, and everyone had a blast. The puzzles were clever and immersive, and there were moments of surprise and teamwork that had us all cheering together. You can tell the team here really cares about crafting a memorable and high-quality experience.
