Terrible service. Can’t handle simple tasks. Aren’t allowed to listen over a customer’s cell phone speaker inside their branch in order to help resolve a quick yet important issue. Require making a phone call to a directory number they don’t answer in order to speak with the person who standing directly in front of the customer inside the store.
I’m specifically unhappy working with Veronica Ottely, apparently a Vice President Branch manager who was not willing to speak over the cell phone of the chase bank customer standing directly in front of her.
All this could have been quickly resolved by just listening in on your customers cellphone speaker.
Chase rates are higher than other banks, and service are extremely difficult when it comes to resolving anything. Most people are inexperienced and lack the one on one help they need. Should be the opposite being that it’s a much bigger bank…

Read moreThis place should get a -10 star review. I had a credit card with Chase Bank. They were and are very nice to me. But they are completely separate from chase Banking. I thought I would do them a favor and open a checking account. 8k plus some direct deposits. When I tried to take some money out of the ATM 2 weeks later, it did not work. I called, and they were nasty , accused me of fraud and it took 6 months to finally get my money back which totaled 14,000 because of the direct deposits. Every time I called I was lied to, checks in the mail, we sent it blah blah blah. Just the worse. I use to work for a bank. I knew because it was FDIC insured it was under Federal Jurisdiction. I hated to to this because and I thought they would laugh in my face, but I finally called the FBI.They did not laugh at all. And within 5 days I had my money back. F Them!...
Read moreI went there to open a new checking account and they wouldn't let me do it unless I show them my permanent resident card. That didn't seem right to me because I have opened a checking account with big banks like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, PNC, Citibank and none of them ever asked my immigration status. As soon as I came out of that bank, I called 3 other Chase branches in the area and all of them said that I just need 2 forms of id to open a checking account and it doesn't have to be a passport or a permanent resident card. I went to another branch and I was able to open my account with my driver's license and my chase credit card. I don't know why they insisted that they need my permanent resident card as a form of id. I wouldn't mind showing it to them but I don't carry it with me all the time. I will never go back...
