7950 West Sunset Apartments — Local services in Los Angeles

Living at 7950 Sunset Blvd was by far one of the most challenging / stressful rental experience I’ve had in Los Angeles.

Management is completely inconsistent and unprofessional. When it came time to end my lease, I gave 31 days’ notice (relocating out of state) and sent multiple emails to confirm an end-of-lease inspection. I had to chase down the assistant manager just to try to schedule it, and even then, no final inspection ever happened. I had to take my own photos of the apartment to protect myself from hidden charges because management couldn’t handle their own protocol. I’m still awaiting on acknowledgement of my emails!

When problems happen, management goes silent. My car was once towed at 2 a.m. by an unauthorized company that trespassed into the property (where was security?). The assistant manager Roxanne did her best to help, but the male manager—though copied on every email—never once responded. Another male staff member became defensive and downright rude over email instead of taking accountability. Zero changes were ever made to improve security after the incident. Safety was a huge non negotiable when I was looking at properties because I work very late and needed to ensure I can enter and exit the building safely. However security it’s constantly hiding or sleeping in the booth after midnight!

The property itself is poorly maintained. Common areas are consistently dirty, and roaches are common in the hallways that don’t have carpet.

The only positive about this building is the engineering team. They respond quickly to maintenance calls and are always polite, professional, and attentive.

If you’re considering moving here, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Theres too many properties in LA to be dealing with Management will make what should be a simple living arrangement into a constant...

I live here and I consider this to be by far the best apartment building in LA. I been all over and there is nothing that can even touch this building in terms of quality and lifestyle. Not to mention location. That being said staff and maintenance team in this building is top notch group of amazing individuals. It’s like living in a high end resort. Great energy, helpful and amazing people all together. Lawrence is the one that will always timely address any of my concerns about any potential issues in my unit. We developed a friendship through all the times he would come and literally save me by installing something or fixing something in a such a short time I wasn't sure issue even existed. Amazing young man that has a skill level of a jedi warrior haha. Marisol and Ernesto are also crew I cant skip over because they are amazing people. Great Location Decent Amenities

Poor customer service (lack of interest to assist and communicate with prospective tenants and current residents).

Service orders are neglected and often not completed in a reasonable amount of time. Unreasonable excuses are often blamed on other employees.

The office always seems to be lacking the staff it needs. When calling the office, you're often informed that they're by themselves and everyone has gone home or they have that day off. The office leasing staff displays weak communication skills among each other and shows lack of concern of any importances with their job duties and resident retention.

Too busy exhibiting detective work and not concentrating on the basics.
