Was recommended by a friend. They don't take appointments for your nails, but do if you want to book lashes or eyebrow services. They are also cash only, but they do have an ATM ($3 fee) inside. I had SNS dip powder on my nails, but wanted to try gel-x because I had something specific in mind.

I showed the nail tech, Michael, a photo and he was able to replicate almost to the T.

If you haven't had gel-x before, they basically trim your nails and glue pre- shaped tips completely over your nail. This was new to me, because with dip if you have one short nail you just apply a tip to that nail, not all ten.

With soaking off the dip powder, getting a full set of gel-x, then paint, design, and cure, total time was ~2hrs. Michael was very patient with my requests and let me know if I didn't like something, I could change it. Total for set and design, $80.

The pedicure I got was standard, I added callous remover and extra 10 min massage. Not a bad pedicure, but nothing special either. Total was $37. At a place closer to me, for $40 they give pedicure,10 min massage, callous remover, salt scrub, paraffin wax, and hot stone massage!!

All in all, I would def go back for the nails!! Turned out beautiful for...

Have you guys ever come out from a nail salon and wanted to cry because you werent satisfied with the work they have done but have no choice you pay because they already did their job? Thats this place right here. Been coming here to support Lincoln Heights neighborhood Nail Salon. I've been given the benefit of the doubt a couple of times thinking, " Maybe next time it will be better its close to home" I quit coming here. If they want their clients to pay what they charge plus tip they need to do a better job we also work hard for our money. My last experience coming here was with the owners mother. Im so sorry but this lady showed me ONCE AGAIN its about quantity NOT about the quality. I asked for a simple gel french tip, she was in a rush to finish with me to take another person. She did a horrible job She file my nails way to much. She cut me twice Said she coulnt do the color I wanted for base because it didnt go. What happen to my nails? My nails bend and the gel lifts and peeled off after 6 days. I can literally remove the gel. Its not supposed to do that. Gel supposed be hard now my nails are breaking and look uneven. This is why im writing this review safe your money find...

My cousins nail broke so I accompanied her to the nail salon. My cousin went 2 previous days prior to today, they charged her 5$ to get her gel x pinky fixed that broke in half. She paid 80$ for her set and 2 days after her nail snaps and they want to charge still. Bad customer service, they look at you as a money sign not a person. I asked to speak to the manager and told her my opinion on having to get charged even though she had just came in 2 previous days before she talks to me with a bad additude and walks away still talking. I asked for her name and no one wanted to give me her name, I asked all the nail workers and everyone ignored me. One nail worker said to go get her and ask her in the back of the salon. I told them "its my first time here I will not go look for her in the back, that's not my job".Bad customer service, they don't care about there customers, just your money, over priced, unfair, bad additude. No compassion. Wish I could tell you the names of the manager and nail tech that I came across but they refused to say there names, probably because they know there rude and are to embarrassed to say there names.
