I requested a haircut from co-owner/stylist Chiaki to transform my long, Asian hair into a more manageable style. Chiaki listened attentively to my ideas for a shoulder-length, layered cut and added her own suggestions for designing the cut. The result minimizes daily styling efforts and looks great.

Washing, cutting, and styling took less than 1.5 hours, during which Chiaki's warm and authentic demeanor--and the clean, minimalist decor/environment made a very comfortable salon experience.

Parking is also exceptionally easy; they have free parking in the shopping center's underground garage.

They also carry Milbon professional hair products from Japan.

This review is the first I have ever written, but I cannot say enough good things about double hair! My fiance and I have been coming here since we moved to LA, and we recommend them to all our friends. Everyone here is punctual, friendly, easy to book, and affirming. The studio is quiet; parking is easy; it's super relaxing. Yoshi and Yasuko are so detail-oriented and precise with their cuts. Let’s start with the negatives—there were none! I arrived with severely damaged ends and felt quite insecure about my hair, which I had neglected for a year. However, I felt a sense of relief when Yuya acknowledged my concerns and promptly offered advice on how to improve my hair moving forward. At no point did I feel judged.
