Worst experience. Came here on Saturday 4/27 to purchase scrubs. All the staff looked super busy and there were several customers waiting to try them on. Patiently waited to try them on and decided to get purchase and get embroidery done. One of the staff told me the embroidery person comes in at 1pm. By the time I left the store it was around 12pm. So I left it to pick it up later. The staff told me someone will give me a call once it is done and it may take about 2 and a half hours. I stayed in the mall until 3:30pm and I did not get a single call from figs and when I revisited the store at 3:30pm, the staff told me the embroidery person did not come in at all so my embroidery was not done. WHAT?! So my husband asked why nobody then called and Staff gave me this excuse that they were understaffed and nobody was available to call and gave me this rude attitude. NONSENSE. For whole four hours, nobody was available to call. I was very frustrated about how they handle these situations. While I am still frustrated, the staff said they can ship it to my home so I said yes and left my address there. The next day on Sunday, someone from figs called and say my scrubs are ready to be picked up. HAHA, OMG. I told the person that I asked to be shipped and he apologizes and say they will ship it and will probably be delivered in Wednesday. So I waited until tuesday but now I have this trust issue with figs offline store so I called the store on Tuesday to see if they have shipped my scrubs. And the answer was NO, Not yet and it will be shipped today. UGH. Not again. They said there was some problem with shipping things so they were not able to send it yesterday. Ok fine whatever. I could not trust them anymore so I told the staff I will just pick up on Wednesday. Now I came to the store to pick up my scrubs at the store and there is only one staff working with 6 customers waiting to be helped and try their scrubs. Waited and stood there until I can get a hold of the staff just to quickly pick up my things. I understand that the staff is busy but she just ignored me completely until I actually caught her attention. Such a unpleasant experience. I think I will never visit the offline store again. We are huge fans of the brand and have interacted with FIGSās customer service more than once, always with a satisfactory ending and whatever the issue solved in the merrier terms; not to mention we have bought a lot of scrubs online. What a sadly disappointment to find out service at the FIGS store was just the opposite!!!
Despite the large number of clerks present, none proactively approached us for assistance, they just kept chatting among them and on their phones.
The attitude of the clerk who āassistedā us was everything but FIGS-friendly, showed annoyance when asked questions about models or sizes, and not in the nicest way, told us we were not allowed to take the scrubs out of their plastic bag but rather had to ask for the sample scrub to try it on.
When we were ready to check out, the clerk, again not in the nicest way, told us that they did not accept cash unless we had the exact amount. SERIOUSLY??? They were not willing to take a $100 for a $98-something bill!!!
When, at the very last moment, we inquired about, and requested embroidery, the clerk just threw their worst look at us, gave us an iPad to fill in the form, and made us pay the service with the exact amount.
Whilst the clerk told us our order would be ready in about 2 hours, the embroiderer, in a more professional tone, said our order would be ready within 45 minutes; it actually took something like an hour and a half.
Finally, one would expect a FIGS store to showcase the huge diversity of the brandās identity, but to top the disappointment, the available models, colors, and sizes are limited.
All in all, we were wishing to go on a scrub shopping spree, but the rudeness discouraged us greatly!!! Not coming back, definitely ordering online from now on.
