Hernandez Furniture — Local services in Los Angeles

Relocating from NYC to LA meant more space for us. As in more space to fill with awesome furniture!

Fortunately, Google led us to Hernandez Furniture, where we found our amazing piece.

We came in on a Sunday and we were greeted by Jose, one of the Hernandez brothers. He was happy to answer all our questions and was not the slightest bit pushy. He even catered to my wife's crazy requests that involved moving furniture out of the way. Even got her a step ladder so she can inspect the top of a piece that was propped on top of another piece of furniture. (This place is packed with awesome stuff!)

After looking at so many great pieces, with Jose answering all our questions. Jose by the way is very knowledgeable and was able to keep up with Jess' questions. (My wife being a senior designer of one at one of the industry's top design firms.) We decided on a Lane piece and asked to have it completely refinished and delivered. Without hesitation, Jose accommodated our requests and delivered the piece in perfect condition in just 10 days!

We will definitely be regulars at Hernandez Furniture and will be filling our home and future homes with their help.

An important tip though: being that this is a family run business, they will work hard to fulfill quick turn times. Be realistic and give them ample time, and give them extra time when they suggest a delivery day. I promise it'll...
