I USED TO love this store so much, the old owners were nothing less than wonderful. But now it has new owners. My opinion about the new employees... well, where do I start? First, you can never look around without them leaving you alone 1 second, pressuring you to buy the second you enter the store, pushing products on you... saying uncomfortable remarks. They seriously need more customer service traning since they make customers very much uncomfortable with their attitude. Usually you will see 2 people on the register. A guy and a woman. The woman looks uninterested, keeps to herself in her phone. The guy harrases customers the moment they put a feet on the door, asks invasive questions (if you are a woman, well he will say sth between: are you from around here, where do you live) this guy is pushy to the point he makes you think he knows better about what you want to buy than yourself. The store may look better now since they renew the fridges and change the register location so they can see you better or harrass you better. But an employee renewal would be much more welcome! Oh yeah and to add more to this list of issues, their alcohol is overpriced. Same bottle in pavilions or Ralph is 10 dollars cheaper. I understand they have to raise the price (bc they bring the alcohol to your convenience in the store) but there's no need to rip customers off because you want more profit. I originally came in for a beer, and I love trying new beers so naturally I take my time to see what they have. Every liquor shop is different, each one has different beers. So Iām going through to see what they have, literally not bothering anyone, and the cashier walks up to me and asks if I needed any help. I said no and he goes back to the register.
