I've been to the store twice, and I was overcharged on several items by a dollar each time I was in. I corrected them the second time, and they promptly made the adjustment and refunded the difference. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe being overcharged was accidental, not intentional. However, I urge any customer to watch the register closely during check out. Each item is rung up as "Custom Item" on the receipt, and the system they have place requires the cashier to know the prices of every item. The person that checked me out told me that they changed their prices all the time, and that's why they overcharged me. Additionaly, not having the names of items on the reciept made it difficult to track with precision every item that was rung up. It took me a moment to realize I was overcharged, and scrutinizing receipts is something I traditionally do not do. Overall, I would not recommend this store because their system is disorganized. I'd rate it as the best Indian grocery places in the locality. I no longer live near by so my review is based on my visits when I lived in the vicinity.

The owner (guy I found behind the counter most days) was very friendly and helpful. He would always help locate items. He would recommend the best day to come and get fresh vegetables.

There is free parking space behind the building, or street parking is free after 6 PM. Since the shopping trip here is usually quick, you can complete your shopping before your quarter runs out in the parking meter. Beware of buying frozen foods from this place. Apparently they shut down their freezer at night. And turn it on in the morning. I found out because I went to buy something and everything in the freezer was basically warm. They turned it on in front of me and when I said but all this food can't be good anymore, they said no it's gonna be fine.

So they just re-freeze whatever gets thawed due to improper storage? IDK but my faith is shaken in how they treat frozen items and making sure they are stored properly. It's sad because I've been buying from them for over 10 years....
