This was our second time purchasing a home with Brad Keyes. Back in 2018 we purchased our first home, a dream condo; since then, his team has grown to include multiple professionals who really know what they are doing. When we decided we wanted to graduate from a condo to a single family home, we did not hesitate to contact Brad again. Because he is both a real estate broker and real estate attorney, we feel confident in his expertise and professional experience. We also really appreciate Brad's brutal honesty -- if he feels something is not perfect, he won't hesitate to say so, and it really makes us feel like he has our best interests in mind. Because of this, we trust him.

Even when buying a house started out as just an idea, Brad guided and coached us through each step of the process, putting us in contact with the right people, answering any and all of our questions, and sending us listing after listing that matched our search criteria. When we found what would be our forever home, he jumped on it and made what could have been an overwhelming process a straightforward and painless one. We trusted his advice -- even when we were not certain what the best move was -- we followed his recommendations, put in an offer, and won!

Brad and his entire team were constantly in contact with us throughout the escrow process, organizing all of our documents in a shared online drive, keeping tabs on our paperwork and timeline, and coordinating with a comprehensive group of inspectors. We felt safe knowing what we were getting into, and any request we made was handled efficiently and professionally. As the escrow process wrapped up, they helped us schedule a walk through with the sellers which was incredibly helpful when it came to exchanging keys and learning about all of the attributes of our new home.

Every day we wake up in our new house and feel so grateful that we were able to buy our dream home that our family will grow into. We really feel like Brad is the reason we were able to put in an offer on only one home leading to a successful purchase, saving us the potential emotional and financial turmoil of having to pursue multiple homes. He helped us sell our condo shortly afterwards, and that was a seamless process as well. We feel safe and less stressed when we work with Brad, and we will continue to contact him should we have any future real estate needs. We were put in touch with Josh Stein-Sapir from Keyes Real Estate through Zillow to begin our home search. Immediately, he steered us in the right direction to make sure we had everything in place to start making offers when we began viewing homes. Josh listened to our likes and dislikes, and helped us put together multiple viewings of homes that we saw and liked, with occasional suggestions of his own. Our first weekend out, we viewed five homes, four with Josh, and one with Brad, his partner. Josh was transparent and honest with us, explaining how the process would work and why we should or shouldn’t take certain steps. He never pressured us in one direction or the other, but explained to us in clear terms why we should or should not make offers, or what we should be cautious of moving forward. We didn’t find anything that first day, but we turned around, and found six more homes and we were back out within a week. This time, we found a home that we wanted to make an offer on. We were told not to wait, and thankfully, we listened. Within twelve hours we had an offer put together and sent to the seller. When they rejected our offer for another one, Josh not only explained to us next steps about becoming the backup offer, but was sympathetic and genuinely as surprised and upset as we were about the news. Thankfully, our offer ended up being accepted in the long run. The escrow process can be overwhelming, stressful, and even a little scary but Josh consistently communicated with us and advocated on our behalf. He scheduled every inspection quickly, and explained to us exactly what it meant when we got each report. He was aggressive when negotiating, getting our closing costs covered and saving us a lot of money that we were able to put toward the home to make it exactly as we envisioned. All in all, we met Josh and bought a home in six weeks! We truly cannot fit all of our positive comments in this review - we cannot recommend Keyes Real Estate or Josh highly enough. Not only was he a great agent, he was also a really fun person to work with and continues to check in on us from time to time. We recently purchased a house, and had the good fortune of working with Josh at Keyes Real Estate. He was fantastic, and the whole Keyes team helped make the process as smooth as possible. We highly recommend them -- that's the short version of my review.

The longer story: four months before our lease expired, and a month after our baby son was born, our landlord told us that they were selling our rental. We had never bought a home before, didn't have as much saved for a down payment as we would like, had never looked into financing options, and frankly were generally unprepared for the process. Given the time constraints we faced, we didn't have the luxury of slowly feeling our way through the process. We needed to move quickly.

Luckily for us, a friend connected us with Josh Stein-Sapir. From the moment we met him, we could tell it would be a good fit. He's smart, quick, and knowledgeable. He has a great conceptual and strategic approach to the home buying process, and I think this is where the Keyes team brings their clients a marked advantage. Although Josh was our primary point of contact, we also had the opportunity to work with both Ryan and Brad as well, and they're fantastic too.

Josh was such a great asset to us throughout an otherwise stressful and chaotic process. We went through multiple unsuccessful bidding wars, a house that went into contract which turned out to be a (literal) cess pool -- long story, but there are photos -- and a second phase of the search which ultimately yielded the house we bought. At every twist and turn, Josh was a steadying force, providing market insight and strategic guidance that was on point every time. I particularly appreciated that Josh was always highly responsive and focused on completing our deals.

And even after the purchase was complete, Josh was there for our rookie questions, like "Do you know any contractors?" (of course he does, and they're the best) or "How does this whole 'home warranty' thing work?"

I can't say enough good things about Josh, Ryan, Brad and the Keyes team. I can't imagine going through the process without a team like that behind us. I recommend...
