Purchased a ring (few hundred dollars), and arranged for pick up at Macy's Century City. my email confirmation lead me to the wrong department for pick up and after meandering around the store i found the jewelry counter. After i gave my information and my driver's license they brought the ring out. at first glance the ring was dull and not shiny. the clerk didn't seem to care about actually helping me other than ushering me out. he never offered to clean the smudges on the ring and when i asked for some kind of tissue paper, ribbon or wrapping paper, i was told "we have nothing, you can go to the mall's concierge desk and they will tell you where you can go to get this wrapped." hmmm that seemed to be upsetting. MACY'S will do NOTHING about wrapping a gift??? Pandora, Swarovski and other mid range jewelers ALL offer some kind of wrapping to make gift purchases look nice and they are all considerably cheaper retailers than macy's... i was a bit shocked. and it wasn't until i asked about some other pieces in the case, which caused the clerk to perk up and be more helpful. LOOK I GET IT you're not getting a commission on the online sale but C'MON at least act like you like your job!!! i got help but when i do buy i plan on buying from someone that actually wants to help me out and earn their commission. will i go back to this macy's... PROBABLY NOT......

The item I brought to buy didn't have a tag on so she asks me in the most impolite way to get one with a tag on. I went and found one with a price tag and came back and saw she's now helping a different customer so I had to wait again, when it was finally my turn she says she can't help me because according to her I threw the item with the tag on the table which is completely false and I have my husband and other customers as witnesses. She just left and abandoned me and other customers in line and when I asked her name so that I could file a complaint about her unacceptable behavior she YELLED "leave me alone KID" I'm beyond disappointed in Macy's and how it hired these employees and allows them to talk to customers like this. This was the rudest interaction I've ever had in my life in a store. Macy's at century City mall was our favorite spot to go but we will never ever go there again and I will never buy a single item from...

Even if your past return date and no receipt. They can and will look up your receipt with the register and your card info up to years back. Always stop off at the LAST ACT sections in your desired section. LOWEST priced clothing you’ll find throughout the store.
Low star rating for lack of employees. You’ll be lucky if you find a worker, most sections are empty and they’ll have 1 worker for multiple areas. 1 in jewelry, 1 for all of makeup. Usually 1 for upstairs. You’ll never find anyone in kids (always messy)
Attitudes could be bad sometimes but I believe that’s just because they looked overworked and they are usually alone so it’s understandable.
Seems to care more about aesthetic of the place, getting customers to give a 10 stars on surveys, and open accounts both bronze rewards and cards. But beware you’ll realize after that they don’t care about your value as a customer. No matter how many years or how...
