The apartment and facility looks nice and new, however, after living here for more than one year I can not agree more with all the other bad reviews listed about this property.
The management here is a joke, they are literally NEVER there when you need anything. I find it quite interesting and how convenient that they always have the "on tour with guest" sign even though it clearly shows on website that there is no availability. Who and where are you showing? On top of that I simply can not wrap my head around how that is a good excuse for them to be gone for 5 HOURS. Are you kidding me? Is this just a common practice for Grey star? Please someone explain to me.
They have removed security on site for 3 months now. At an area where gas station locks their door at night, this place is wide open. I have experienced break in, being followed by a man and attempt to grab me, homeless people sleeping/hangs out on property on a constant bases. If you like company, this place is an excellent choice for you!
If anything breaks in the apartment you're on your own. At this point the only group of people that cares about their job slightly is the cleaning crew, still with that being said. You can easily find used diapers and cigarette butt along with other trash on common area, thank you for the nice surprise mariposa!
I would not be as bitter as I am if only the management in fact does tries but just not at perfection. Facts are front desk is never there, security is a luxury, their desk phone is for decoration purposes and THEY DONT CARE about you, they will showcase that to you generously with no sugarcoating.
If you are considering this property, please keep this in mind. Will update this review if...
Read moreWe are really disappointed with this new management in place, Cannon Property Management. The quality of communication, cleanliness of the building, and security continues to go down fast. 24 hour security that the old management "kind of" provided is now completely gone. We now have doors left open, electronic entry not working and homeless people lurking around the complex. Our mailroom is ridiculous. Packages everywhere and so easy for someone to slip in through the main door, walk straight to the mailroom and snag packages. The new management hasn't even reached out to the tenants via email. They keep posting paper notes on doors. I mean, really, you can't send a mass email to your tenants? How unprofessional especially for a "luxury apartment complex." Also, the "community manager" on site has such an attitude. Lastly, the trash situation is so bad and disgusting. There's is one trash and recycling bin for 122 units so trash is always overflowing all over the gate entrance to the parking garage. (See photos are different days w/trash all over)
We moved here a few months ago when it was still under the old management Greystar. Although, they too were not much better in managing this apartment complex, they at least had some form of communication via email in place and their team was a bit more present and nicer.
Sadly, definitely not worth the money we pay for rent, utilities and parking for this place. The only thing I love is the layout...
Read moreMoving out after living here for three years. Cannon Management, who has taken over the management of this property, needs to hire a more affable property manager. Jordaan, the new manager, needs to take customer service classes; as a lot of other reviews have mentioned, he is rude and dismissive and seems to suffer from an attitude problem. Management responds to complaints of the manager by saying that personalities don't align...when you're working a customer service position, you make your personality align to that of your customer.
There is also a lack of timely communication when issues come up with the building. Desk coverage is spotty, they claim it's because they're understaffed which is believable, however, they've been here for a while now. Plenty of time to hire a second front desk person, or any other staff that is missing.
They also say that we have a rotating security. What exactly does that mean? What days are they here? How do we contact them? What are their hours? None of this has been communicated to us.
They'll respond to 1 star reviews by having a friend post a 5 star review shortly thereafter. Or by using a canned response about how they're working on making things better.
Also, be aware parking is horrible. Like much of Koreatown and that parking is not guaranteed. EV parking spots are $300/mont plus Chargepoint membership to charge.
Oh, and apparently now we also have some unhoused roaming...
