Free concert was vibrating and fun! I could hear the fun and vibrating music from cross the street! It really made people feel energized and wanted to dance! This beautiful, spacious, multifunctional Plaza was located off Gland Ave in financial district. There were a few tall and modern, clean and beautiful buildings surrounding it. There were a lot of clean and spacious seating areas around the stage, so I could watch the concert in many different angels. The concert was very urban and Rap related. The sound effect was very clear and high quality in the open air: it was about to pump your blood and made you feel very happy and excited ! If anybody who is not a fan of Rap music, then this concert will certainly change your mind. Come down here and check it out!

This was actually supposed to be a review for Starbucks, but I have plenty already, and all DTLA Starbucks are 5 star because of consistency. But I do want to add that this location has a barista that acknowledges customers immediately, and that's rare in any business these days. I loved that. The 5 stars is also for One California Plaza, which I've known about since the early 2000s but haven't been here for quite some time. It's a great place to relax and enjoy lunch during the weekdays. I believe this place is still closed on weekends and holidays. There is private security everywhere, so it's safe compared to other hang out's in DTLA. I'm not sure if any concerts are held here anymore, but I have seen events take place here in the past.

California Plaza is truly the hidden gem of the Grand Avenue Arts area of downtown Los Angeles. From Grand Avenue you don't see much of what the California Plaza has to offer, but if you venture a few steps down you will be rewarded with a large selection of restaurants and the Omni Hotel. It's also the gateway to the Angel flight Railway that will take you down to the Grand Central market. I live across the street from this wonderful facility and use it all the time.

Convenient place to have a quick lunch. I visited USPS-never again. Retail clerk is incredibly rude. This is her disposition so grab a coffee from Starbucks before interacting with her. You will need it.

We had lunch at Panda Express. Lots of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy a sunny day. Keep in mind that the plaza is host to several businesses, so it gets busy during peak hours(8 am,, 12 pm, 4 pm). Also, the elevator situation reminds me of Willy Wonka’s house. Make sure you know where you going.
