Update: They called the police on me when I addressed them about my window being busted out in our secured garage. 8/7/25 They also called the police on me after taking a picture of them in the office, after once again ignoring multiple emails from me. Told the police "I made them feel uncomfortable" in my own home where I PAY. Not one word was said, and funny enough another resident saw me and was telling me how she had literally just had a bad experience moments before. Again not a word nor interaction had been made. Just me taking a simple picture, and they feared for their life enough to call the police. The assistant manager also ran out the office at me, AFTER the police arrived to try and get tough with a woman! Literally walked me down at the elevator yelling, all while on the clock. How professional. Once they mess up one time, they'll constantly harass you to try to make you buy out your lease or give you multiple violations to try to get you out. Instead of them just doing their job. They've had the police harassing me twice in less the 2 months where I PAY BILLS! They like to try and use their power, to power trip instead of putting that energy into keeping residents in the building. We've also been showering in cold water for 3 DAYS! Wittition is the worst of all managers we have had thus far, and we've had a lot. She very argumentative. She would rather argue, than find a resolution. She says one thing and automatically act like she didn't, and try to gas light you into thinking you're wrong. They ignore all your emails, and argue any time you call them out on a mistake, instead of trying to fix the error they made. A homeless person just recently broke into our secured parking garage(5/30/25), that we pay for, that also had on site security, and my car window was still busted. Only mine though, out of the whole building which still makes no sense. They then decide to have my apartment door knocked on multiple times throughout the whole day, till night to give me a lease violation for "disturbance", the same day after addressing my window being busted out, and them acting like it didn't happen due to their negligence. It was already acknowledged by all of staff that someone had broke into the garage. They led me on for a month to thinking they would handle the situation and didn’t. They also are now refusing to give me security footage of the incident, because they dont want to be held liable. I also had belongings stolen out the garage when the gate was broke just weeks ago. They messed up my lease renewal and drafted it for a completely different amount than what it was supposed to be. They refused to look over the issue and own up to messing up my lease and continued to disregard my rent being over charged. If you have a problem and reach out, expect to receive a negative rebuttal, and not a resolution. They even tried to fully blur off the office windows, to avoid having to see the delivery drivers struggling at the door, trying to get inside with our packages because they're too lazy to open the door and let them in. We have missed multiple deliveries where amazon cant get inside, and they'll be sitting in the office the whole entire time. They find every way to do less and less of the job, yet cause more and more issues. They will literally acknowledge the problem, and when you ask for an update it’s all of a sudden “we dont have a report for that” when there’s plenty of ignored emails as proof of a report. Wittition is also very unprofessional and stated how it’s not her job to care of the residence feel, and how she know security was on site when my car got damaged, yelling in the background while im talking to other staff. Yet they feel the need to give me a disturbance lease violation when I've been in this building over 5 years, with no issues until her grand arrival. Save yourself the trouble and dont move here. You will not feel like you’re comfortably living at home where you pay to...
Read moreTo whom it may concern,
I have been a resident here for about 6 months and would like to share my experience to any future residents who may have a similar lifestyle.
I am personally a workaholic and am an introvert. If you want a place where you can increase productivity in a quiet atmosphere, and have privacy and luxury to have your postmate/amazon items delivered at your door, then this is a place for you.
If you are looking for a place where the leasing office is easy to access and contact, then this a place for you. The staff, specifically, Glenn, Erin, Mario have so much patience with me and they provide above and beyond reasonable accommodations to help me access my home. Erin is always listening to me and hearing exactly what my main concern is. Yes, the leasing office talks to you like a human being and not a name on paper. And, if ever I need something, she is spot on ready to expedite a request. Glenn always provides simple and easy to understand information/feedback. He explains my rights, stays zen and positive. Best manager I have met. Mario always finds ideas to help make my apartment safe for me. I face medical goals and the level of respect and support from staff is what helped me in my recovery. Also, Guadalupe is super sweet. She always makes sure the apartment environment/ amenities are clean. She is always smiling and sending great vibes. I have not yet to see this apartment complex messy when I invite guests over. My friends are super picky and let’s just say, they are already telling other people where I live. I will leave it at that.
It took me so long to write this because no other apartment complex goes above and beyond to resolve an issue (whether it is safety, laundry, maintenance repair, etc). I do not write reviews in general because you never know who is real and who is fake when posting feedback. What I can tell you is I hold a masters degree, and I pay attention to small details. What I noticed is Wilco is always clean and the staff are just here to process papers for rent. They are genuinely caring to make sure residents are comfortable throughout their residency stay.
The people running the apartment, sets the tone and energy that Wilco stands for. Realistically no apartment is ever perfect, but the people running the apartment is perfect for me. For the first time in 30 years, I can say, I have a home at Wilco. After 6 months of being here, I will for sure...
Read moreI was a former tenant at Wilco for 4 years, and when I first moved in, I couldn't believe how amazing Wilco was. Rent was affordable, the building was newly constructed and well maintained, and the management team led by Erin (previously Greystar) was incredible!
However, in the past 4 years, Wilco has gone downhill, evident from the fact that they keep frequently changing management teams, to the point where a few months ago they entirely switched to a new management company, Sares Regis.
When I moved out in July, Wilco was still managed by Greystar. However, after my 21 days of move out, I still didn't receive my security deposit. I contacted Wilco numerous times and Sares Regis had just taken over, and they said that they had to contact Greystar to confirm my security deposit. No communication from them at all for the following weeks, even though they said multiple times they would call me back. I had to call them every week for about a month, still no resolution.
As of October, without any verbal or written communication by Wilco, did I receive my full security deposit by mailed check, which I suspect Sares Regis only did because I threatened to go to small claims court. And Wilco has a history of not paying security deposits (check the other Google reviews) AND a history of going to small claims court, so that's probably why they mailed me my security deposit because they didn't want to get sued.
Also, the immediate neighbourhood of Wilco is not great, it's right next to MacArthur Park, so there are lots of homeless/sketchy characters. There is a commercial space that is attached to Wilco, and for all my 4 years living there, that space has been empty the entire time. That just shows you how bad the neighbourhood is.
Please consider another apartment building in LA, even though Wilco did the right thing by mailing me my entire security deposit, the lack of communication made this process extremely frustrating and tedious. The only reason why this isn't a 1/5 stars is because they did eventually give me my security deposit back. Even though Greystar is probably the source of this issue, Wilco could have handled the management team transition better, and the communication from Sares Regis was non-existent, giving me the impression that they...
