Kurve — Local services in Los Angeles

I've been living here for 3 weeks and I feel compelled to leave a review.

The Kurve is the real deal, it's not like some of these other faux luxury apartment complexes that as soon as you lift the veil you start to see the cracks in the veneers. This place isn't like that at all. As soon as you walk into the lobby it's reminiscent of a luxury hotel. There's a security guard at the front door at all times and there's always someone at the front desk to assist you. There are even trolley carts available to help if you're moving, have luggage or groceries.

The leasing agents are very knowledgeable about the property, they're very prompt and proactive; I never found myself waiting for long periods of time to get support. For example, Angela was my leasing agent, she was a breath of fresh air! She was genuine and immediately assisted with any questions or concerns I had. She made my move-in experience seamless and stress free. However, when Angela wasn't unavailable when I called the leasing office, Jonathan or Grace picked up, and instead of passing me off... They helped me immediately. So regardless you're in good hands.

The amenities are spectacular, the rooftop pool is just beautiful. They even offer sound bath meditation and other Spa like services on the penthouse level.

The security is top-notch, you must use a key fob to access the elevators floors and it's only programmed to your specific floor and folks delivering items must be escorted. I never have to worry about my packages being stolen.

The Kurve takes pride in keeping their building beautiful; they do exterior window washing. The hallways are always clean and they always smell nice and refreshing.

I think it's important to note that they really did clean and paint my apartment before moving in. I'm sure we all know we get charged a cleaning fee and a painting fee but most places I moved into in the past... I could tell there wasn't a fresh layer of paint on the walls. My apartment was like brand new when I moved in and I really appreciate that!

There's definitely a high-end level of attention to detail here. I mean upon arriving into my new apartment, there was a nice size box on the counter and when I opened it, it was a gift. And I mean a nice "welcome home" gift; it wasn't cheap! They really know how to personalize your experience here.

The building is beautiful, the leasing agents are beautiful, and while not necessary, I certainly don't mind; I swear they took a page out of the Oppenheim realty group from the netflix show selling Sunset.

There's definitely a higher caliber of people that live here and seem to respect this place. My only hope is that that level of care and respect continues because the people who work here and manage this building are clearly on point. I would definitely say this is a case of you get what you pay for.

I'm so glad I chose Kurve as...

My experience was terrible.🤬 This A.P.T doesn't seem like a place that operates normally. The korean manager Christin was very RUDE. The way she treated ppl , her face expression , ATTITUDE so RUDE !! like someone who grew up without learning common manners. she said her mom also tells her attitude all the times that that's her style😇. She seemed to have forgotten that she is an adult n working as a manager at work.

After giving all my information n signing , Christin changed her words 5minutes later so I had to cancel n get a REFUND. ( Deposited money n application fee) She said Grace a korean in the account team would refund me right away.

Even after time passed , I didn't receive my Refund. So I told Grace that there wasn't even a refund pending notice from the bank .she told me to wait bcz the bank wouldn't show up right away . I called my bank . they said there was no refund. From then, Christin, Grace didn't answer my calls and the APT office didn't answer my calls too. (I called 10 times )

After a while Grace answered my call and without any explanation and stopped me to say anything and said that she would give my refund through the app, not the bank. In order to get my refund, I had to sign with my personal information on a weird app I had never heard of before. I thought this was a scam so I asked her to send me a check. She said it would take a long the check would be sent from Texas. But within a month. I called greystar customer service in Texas. They said it was Kurve wilshire Apartment's responsibility to issue REFUND and it had nothing to do with them.😨😡 Then Another agent called me and said she would help me. she then informed me that she had received a message saying the check had been sent from Texas.

But then I found out they didn't send any check to me.

They didn't properly explain the REFUND process and just lied to me. They totally lied to me.

They didn't give my money back. I will receive a REFUND through a bank claim.

Sooo angry that I wasted my times with these liars. And I can't trust this strange company so I asked them to delete my personal information, but there was no response.

PlS Delete my information ASAP. don't want to involve this kind of ppl . I really want to report here. Where is the headquarters?

This A.P.T has large windows. but one window that can be opened is too small so there must be a ventilation problem. Plus there is dryer without a vent. And the Area around this Apartment...

My partner and I toured the Kurve on October 7, 2023. We had such a pleasant experience thanks to the efforts of Grace Kim, our leasing agent.

Y'all, if you're going to lease, lease with Grace Kim! We were headed to the Kurve for a function, and we were set to arrive at 6:10PM. Our friends had just told us about a few units opening up for an incredible deal, so we wanted to tour, but the hours on the website said the Kurve leasing office closes at 6PM. I called and luckily Grace answered. I told her about the situation, and she said it would be ok for us to arrive late. She stayed past the closing date to help us--that is above and beyond!

Grace took the time to ask us what we're looking for and match us with available units. She was so knowledgeable about the property and the units. I ask very specific questions (about the square footage, layout, views) and she was able to answer them all. She was also very technically savvy, using the iPad to show us videos of units.

Despite it being past closing time, she took the time to show us a unit and gave us the breathing room to envision living in it. She was so patient and gracious.

We knew we wanted to lease her after working with Grace, so we signed for a unit (albeit one that we didn't see but had larger square footage) right then and there!

Grace made the application process seamless. She also answered my follow up questions the days following our tour.

To top it all off, we qualified for a promotion that made the deal even more enticing.

When I say the grounds are luxury, I'm not overstating it. My partner and I currently live in Arista in Glendale, and have been looking at other luxury apartments. From AMLI Marina Del Rey to Palazzo West by the Grove, Kurve has all of the amenities we are looking for and then some. We used to leave at the Pearl on Wilshire with the friends who referred us, and they like it here too.

Although the surrounding neighborhood looks sketchy, we can stay in the comfort of our complex without fear of that because there was so much security outside, inside, and in the technology to get around the building.

The grounds were well kept. The floors in the buildings were so clean.

I love the pool and the view we'll have.

Plus, the management was nice enough to work with us regarding our move-in date since our current lease does not expire until December.

I cannot wait to live...
