Audition Karaoke — Local services in Los Angeles

I'm hoping this was a fluke but I reserved a room for my daughter's birthday party yesterday at 5:30pm. We show up and the place is closed even though their normal business hours are 5pm to 2am, no one is at the location and no one answers the phone. I had a van full of teenagers sitting outside this place for 20 minutes while I tried to figure out what to do since they completely didn't even show up to open the place. Luckily we found another place that was open but I think it's rather unacceptable to take a reservation for a party and then to not even show up or have the courtesy to let people know that you can't honor the reservation if something unforeseen happened.

Also, the area around it is pretty sketchy looking if that matters to you. I never saw the inside so I can't...

REALLY sketchy karaoke bar, would not recommend that anyone go here. We came on a Sunday night at 9:28pm, and even though they had a completely empty parking lot, and the place was completely quiet, we were stopped by the front desk person before we could even step in and told that we needed to have a reservation. Note that this place has no website or active phone number, so it is impossible to even book a reservation. Not sure what is going on...

The place is scam, came there with 2 friends of mine on Friday evening, they told us there were no available rooms, when the parking lot was empty. They indicated that their place works by reservations only, however on their web site there was no mention of such a thing. When we were waiting for our Lyft ride they were calling...
