Best inexpensive, quick, tasty and made as you order lunch that will not leave you broke. Phone orders welcome for carry out but best taste is appreciated as it comes out the flaming kitchen woks. Super friendly server/owner that is very attentive to special requests and always very pleasing. Just one of those "Whole in the wall" kind of places that is mostly heard through word of mouth and only known by those that work nearby and recommend it. It will always leave you craving for more of this Szechwan style Chinese food. Highly recommend since I have been going there from late 80s and the quality of food has not changed at all although pricing has increased very lightly. Go and get yourself a treat of this fabulous culinary aide of China, you will agree on the outstanding flavor and agreable prices. Order an " Assorted Chow Ma Mey" bowl of soup...the best I have ever had and so will you. By the way, tell them Freddie sent you. They know me there...

I used to work nearby and at least once a week for years I had lunch here. My favorite dish is the hot pepper chicken which is delicious. The accompanying soup is chickeny with maybe onion and cabbage is just wonderful and likewise the fried rice, the Chinese kimchi, and even the cold water in pitchers on the tables. The place is small, with just a few tables, and often crowded. It’s a hole in the wall and the price especially for lunch is low. Who can’t afford a good meal at Little Wang Kung? I don’t come as often as I used to, because I don’t work in the hood anymore, but when I’m nearby it’s either here or Langer’s. Sometimes I just have an urge for some hot...
