Was returning an item without receipt and asked if I could put it back on my tj maxx Mastercard I used to purchase. The young girl checking me out says hold on, yells mom and goes down a few cashiers and starts talking to another lady. Comes back and says without receipt they can just give me a store credit. I asked her was that her mom and she said yes. I asked if she was the manager and she says no. I asked her to get her manager please after the transaction was finished. Manager comes over and I asked her the same question and she states if I gave an email receipt that would work too. I thanked her for the info and told her she may want to inform the two ladies who never mentioned it (mom and daughter). The mother them starts saying, âwhat did she sayâ. So I told her that I was told I could use an email receipt and she says, âIâm just making sure she was being rude to my daughter. Then the daughter yells back, âshe wasâ. I was never rude to the girl. I asked to speak to another manager and Brett came out. As I was talking to him the mother comes from behind the counter running her mouth very aggressive. I left the store and called back yo speak to Brett to get their names and he refused to tell me their names stating I needed to call the 1 800 number. I asked him for his district managers name and number and he refused to give it to me. I told him I will come back to the store to get their names and he said, âyou are being threatening and you are not welcome in the storeâ. I want to cancel all my cards with this company and will never step foot in that store again. When the mom came from behind the counter, Brett did not say a word asking me to come outside. Worst manager and he should not be representing this company. I was able to find the district managers name, and will be contacting him Monday and corporate to close my accounts. Three problems 1. Brett is unable to properly deescalate a situation. 2. Cashier not properly trained and 3. Mother is way too overprotective of her daughter and started getting loud in the store. UPDATE: I can't get ahold of anybody and no one will call back! I have left a complaint with the Attorney general and BBB. This review was a lot worse then i wrote about in the beginning but i thought i would keep it basic.... But this company obviously don't give one iota about the consumer.
