Disappointing Experience at Multiple Men’s Wearhouse Locations in Louisville Unfortunately, our experience with Men’s Wearhouse for our wedding tux/suit rentals was not great — at both the Oxmoor and Paddock Shops locations. We initially went to the Oxmoor location, where the associate seemed very quiet and unhelpful. I had to initiate all the questions — asking about different styles I had seen online, and requesting to try on different sizes rather than just going by what I “usually wear.” It turned out that the original sizes they suggested were not the right fit, so I’m glad I spoke up and insisted on trying alternatives. We later switched our pickup to the Paddock Shops location, where we brought my father-in-law to get fitted. We also adjusted his return date due to travel, and when we explained this, the associate gave us unnecessary attitude, saying, “You know that’s going to cost more.” Yes — we understood. That wasn’t the issue. When we returned to pick up the tux and suits, mine (the groom's) was completely wrong — the wrong jacket size, wrong shoe size, shirt, vest — you name it. Thankfully, it was a Saturday and they were able to reorder everything to be corrected by Tuesday. Although initially they said Tuesday or Wednesday for reorder and Wednesday would have been too late. However, no one called, texted, or emailed when the corrected order arrived — we had to follow up ourselves. When we asked if there might be any discount or acknowledgment of the major mix-up, the same associate from earlier dismissively said, “That’s just how rentals work.” Even after everything was picked up, we continued to receive texts and emails saying my father-in-law’s order was still not picked up— even though it was already was. Just another layer of frustration. Then upon returning we asked about the discount they mentioned for the groom after all groomsmen completed their orders they said we did not qualify because they did not get jewelry which was not mention prior to them telling about said discount. Overall, this was not a warm, professional, or reassuring experience — especially when renting for something as important as a wedding. While options for rentals in our area are limited, I would seriously think twice before choosing Men’s...

If I could give no stars I would. If you want a suit in a timely manner, go somewhere else. I went in store for a suit in July for my October wedding. Got measured and got the suit ordered. It came in about a week later, and was wrong, the sizing was off on the jacket, and the pants were completely wrong. They said they would reorder it and it would be there within a week or so. I waited two weeks and didn’t hear anything. I called the store and they said it was on the way. I waited a third week and called after still not hearing anything. The person I spoke to didn’t even check, just kept saying it was on the way. It wasn’t until I went back INTO THE STORE that someone would help me and eventually tell me the suit wasn’t actually reordered. I was mad but we reordered it anyway. They told me 5-7 days. Which turned into 3 more weeks with numerous phone calls and calls to customer service where incorrect information was given to me with tracking numbers that didn’t exist. After 8 weeks from when I initially went into the store the suit finally came in and 2 weeks before my wedding. I was promised a partial refund for everything that happened, but had to wait because their system “hasn’t updated to show that the suit even arrived.” And they “can’t refund it until the system updates” it’s been 2.5 weeks since then and still no refund in sight. It wasn’t such a bad experience suit buying experience. Go somewhere else....

Originally went to the Shelbyville Rd location to purchase a new suit for some upcoming weddings and received horrible customer service. Left after one of the salespeople abandoned me to help a customer who came in to set up groomsman suit rentals (I understand that this was a bigger sale but it was handled without any tact). After that experience I originally vowed to avoid spending any money at Mens Wearhouse again.

I decided to give Mens Wearhouse one more chance after I saw that they are now selling MTM Joseph Abboud suits and drove the extra distance to the location at the Paddock Shops and wow was it worth it! I ended up purchasing two MTM suits that came with a MTM shirt and I have had zero regrets regarding the purchases. Both the suits and the shirt came in fitting me great despite my overall unconventional proportions. I worked with Tyler throughout the whole process and he did an absolutely wonderful job. The rest of the staff also did a fantastic job. Mens Wearhouse won a customer back due to my great experience at this store!

Two recommendations; if you are on the fence about purchasing a MTM Joseph Abboud fence pull the trigger on it, fantastic quality to price ratio and really does result in a much better fitting suit! Also if you are going to purchase anything at Mens Wearhouse or had a bad experience at one of the other ones in the area come to the Paddock...
