We walked in and waited for over 5 minutes before we were even greeted. The lady at the bar saw us and another waitress. Finally another waitress walked by and said the hostess is around here somewhere. A few minutes later the hostess comes to seat us. We sat down and waited for a while. In fact so long by the time our waitress got to us we already knew what we wanted. The funny thing was the lady who ended up being our waitress had passed by our table several times and never once acknowledged or said I will be right with you. She comes to get our drink order and we place our order too. She comes back with the bread drink and salads. We then do not see her again. Another waitress brought our food out. My mom had to ask another waitress for a refill. By the end of my meal I had drank both my water and unsweetened tea. I was still thirsty but had given up hope on that. After sitting 20 mins done eating, empty cups, and our waitress yet to be seen and still thirsty my mom asked another waitress for our ticket and to go back. She said sure let me go get your waitress. The waitress Cindy comes out with boxes and bags and throws them on the table. She smelt very strong of cigarette smoke so guess her break had been interrupted. I said I only need two boxes. She then got aggravated and tossed the other two on the table behind us. I then asked for to go drinks and a refill since had been waiting so long and had not had enough to wash down my dinner with. She got very mad took my cup and said you haven’t had to wait long. I ignored and refrained from breaking the time down for her that we had been waiting and how she had been illusive. She brings the drinks back and says here and goes to walk out, still very mad and bothered. I said what about our card. She looked down and grabbed in her apron and couldn’t find it. She said I don’t know where it is. Said I must have left it back there. Heads to the kitchen comes out goes back to the register looks around still can not find it. Finally my mom got up and went and asked her. She said oh yeah it was here on the counter and I just told overlooked it. Ummm so now as long as she took between taking the card and bring it back it was over 10 mins it laid there that someone walking by to the bathrooms could have grabbed. We will not be back. Cindy was awful. People who came in and had other waitresses were waited. I understand if she was going to take a long lunch break but if that was the case she should have said something and said so and so will be taking care of you while I am on break. Cindy does not need to be a waitress or anything with customer service. I never write google reviews but this was so unprofessional and rude and awful and flabbergasting to me that it...
Read moreI haven't been to a Longhorn Steakhouse in many years, but my recent visit was a pleasant surprise and a much better experience than I had in the few times I had gone many years ago. Price wise, it is comparable to Outback, but the quality of food is far superior these days, in my opinion. The steaks are much better in seasoning and quality. The salmon was very nice and dense (in a good way) like a steak but flaky and tender. My only complaint is for the kid's menu, which the portion seemed small for the Kraft Mac and cheese (I know, I know, but at least they had it to make my Kraft kid happy so I could enjoy myself haha) for it being a $6.50 meal. It might be a more appropriate portion for someone 6 or under, not really a 10 year old. The warm loaves of whole grain bread are super delicious. The Steakhouse Macaroni and Cheese was delightful and could have been a meal all on its own. The brussel sprouts were crispy and flavorful and even had a sweet taste (maple syrup? Brown sugar?) to balance the salty and to cut the bitterness of the sprout! The salads were loaded with diverse, well chopped veggies - which I appreciate as a salad lover - not just lettuce with a sprinkle of other veggies like I have had at other steakhouses. The grilled shrimp were delicious, but leaned a little on the salty side (I didn't mind as I love salty foods, but in case you are needing lower sodium, or are sensitive to salt, you may be able ask for lightly seasoned) and the dip was separated with a layer of oil on the top that didn't want to mix well. Though, the rice that sat atop was a good balance to the dish. The service was phenomenal and the food came out quickly and fresh. We will definitely return soon! A meal for five of us (4 adults, 1 kid) came to about $108 plus tip, which is comparable to Outback and maybe slightly more than Texas Roadhouse by about 10-15% but the quality of food and service and a much quieter atmosphere, was well worth the price difference. The quieter atmosphere was still family friendly, and more sensory friendly for our kiddo who struggles with loud restaurants. I would recommend if you are seeking a quieter/less chaotic...
Read moreLonghorn has a typical steak house dinning experience very reminesant of Outback. The meat choices are your typical middle upper class top shelf options. Every visit has been consistent with excellent and cheerful servers. Mitch was above board today. The staff always smiles and gives you a true sense of belonging to something special. I generally stick to the sirloins lately because imo it's of good value. Tender ,juicy, and cooked to an elegant medium perfection. Which is always the case for this LongHorn. To date I can not scribe of a single moment or visit that wasn't superior. My mother and I have lunch around 130 to 200 pm on these outings. The dinning room is busy but not over filled and the meals come in order and in perfect timing to Match the end of one with the others beginning. The bread served is always fresh and the servers are always happy to alot you as much as you desire. Even one for the road should you not finsh your bountiful portions. This rendezvous we had the new version of their speech artichoke dip. Served with lightly sweeten garlic bread bites just on the edge of crisp with out being burnt. The pairing is a first for us. And is a nice spin on the copy cat chips option. Very Filling. I choose to have a loaded potato which is always fresh and not spongy like some who Don't rotate their stock. Longhorn always has quality . I pair this with a house salad which can be had with or without what ever your hearts choosing. My main measure of a server's performance is the level of my glass of sweet tea. Which not once has ever been found Making that annoying slurping sound due to the keen sense of satisfaction the staff awards their customers. I can not comment on desert as everything of the aforementioned puts Me past full well on into the night. So to add a desert to go I could honestly be content with one meal till bed time. We frequent this establishment and have never left with anything but pleased tastebuds, full belly and a relaxing rejuvenation of self. Thank you Longhorn and Mitch. For a wonderful...
