This place is filled to the rafters with fabric by the bolt, flat folds and fat quarters. I am not kidding, you will find yourself tripping over the bolts of fabric propped up on other merchandise. There is a monstrous inventory of kits and jelly rolls. Many varieties of novelty fabrics, batiks, blenders and linens. There is a solid section of specialty threads, buttons, and embroidery floss, plus felting supplies. I was a little confused because the hanging sign said "3rd Street Gallery", but the window says Handwerks. Also, if you drive a half a block past the store, there is plenty of free parking that saves you the anxiety of having to parallel park. Hours are somewhat limited, but the vast inventory, and friendly service makes it worthwhile to plan your visits on their schedule.. I am so happy that there is another game in town besides...
