I hate being the person to leave a bad review. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, however, this is probably the rudest starbucks we have in the area. There is one female worker who I'm always met with attitude from. When placing a mobile order, sometimes I will get to the drive-thru in two minutes, sometimes in ten. It really depends on traffic, but I figure any notice of an order coming in is better than no notice. Once you pull up and state you have a mobile order, she states when it was ordered aloud with attitude and says it's not ready. Example: "It looks like you placed an order three minutes and twenty-seven seconds ago so we don't have that ready". Then once you get to the window, they state that if someone pulls up and orders at the window behind you, you will have to wait in the parking spot until yours is ready.
Why is it that I place my order in advance but I have to wait on the side for it to be done? I never experience this at other starbucks or at dunkin, it is always ready.
I once was told that I should be waiting for a notification from starbucks that my order is ready, despite arriving when the app says the order should be complete. So, I parked and waited for a notification. I even went in my settings to ensure I allowed notifications through Starbucks. Ten minutes went by, and I decided I will just go through the drivethru again because there is no way I am still waiting after twenty minutes for a drink to be done. I pull up and she says yep it's ready for you. I don't understand the logic behind this operation. It feels like mobile orders are absolutely pointless and I should just be ordering when I pull up, that way I have my drink in my hand as soon as I get to the window. Again, I have not experienced this at any other location or met any other rude starbucks employee. I used to go to this location weekly, but lately it has been once every few months. Now, I am avoiding this location due to the nasty attitude and mobile...
Read moreWhoever is in charge of mobile orders vs drive thru orders doesn't pass the logic test. I ordered through the mobile app at 3:13pm and it said my order would be ready in 5-8 minutes. I arrive and at the drive thru order machine, I'm told my order isn't ready and I need to park and wait. Well, there are cars ahead of me and behind me, so I have to wait in line. I get to the window at 3:22 and I'm told it's still not ready and the online time doesn't reflect their store times, so I need to get out of line and wait. And they give some line how orders placed at the store vs. mobile orders are handled differently, so that's why I need to get out of line and wait, but people who order at the drive thru can stay in line while everyone else waits for their orders to be completed. By that time the drive thru line was 8+ cars deep, so I get back in line. Within 2 minutes I got a notification that my order was ready. So, now I have to wait for all the cars ahead of me to get served. Some of them may have had mobile orders that may have been placed before or after me. But there were definitely cars that ordered while in line. So by the time I get back to the window I've waited over an additional 10 minutes to get my order and people who clearly ordered after me AND were in line after me the 1st time I was line had been served and driven away. When I try to tell the lady at the window their system didn't make any sense she got rude with me and acted like it was my fault her store couldn't provide the service they say they provide. She also kept telling me I could have come inside. Again, like it's my fault they can't handle drive thru and mobile orders in a timely and competent manner. In the scheme of things maybe it's not a big deal. But the store employees handled the situation poorly and could have let me stayed at the window like every other customer that waits at the window while they're order...
Read moreUnfortunately, I will not be visiting this Starbucks again. I have tried several times to give it another chance, but every time I go the service is extremely slow and I always regret it. This morning I had the worst experience yet. The drive through line was almost completely full when I got there but I'd say it's only about 10 cars long. I arrived at 8:10am and in 10 minutes I could already tell that it was going to be a long wait. We only moved up one car in 10 min. Unfortunately there is no way out of the drive through line once you are in it or I absolutely would have bailed. Flash forward 50 minutes (yes, FIFTY minutes), almost an hour later I made it to the window and received my drink. Apparently my mistake was not opening the lid to inspect it upon receiving it. I didn't drink anything on the way home (2 min drive) and when I got home I opened the lid to find 1/3 of my drink missing. I waited in line for 50 minutes for 2/3rds of a drink. Ridiculous. I would avoid this location if you can. I am a Starbucks lover and have had great experiences at every other location I've been to, but this location is notoriously slow and now with the terrible quality of drink I received after such a long wait, I will...
