I have been shopping at Weis in Camp Hill, PA for years, sometimes multiple times a day. I understand that sharply increasing grocery prices for lesser products is a sting we are all feeling, but as someone who patrons Weis in Camp Hill Pennsylvania SO FREQUENTLY, I am absolutely shocked by how much expired food my wife and I have found on the shelves in recent history. Wow. Who even checks the stuff on the shelf most of the time? Maybe if it is perishable.... I'm talking about granola bars, boxed dinners... ice cream bought today, 2/19/2025, that expired in October of last year. I mean, come on. You cannot possibly expect someone to continue to shop at Weis Markets in Camp Hill, PA once they can, in a single trip, find dozens of long expired items on the shelf!! This is absurd. I've spent so much time and money at this location and I feel sick now; how much expired food have I been eating for how long? Am I paying currently high prices for food that was fresher several dollars ago?? You can't entirely control your role in the fluctuating grocery costs, but you also can't sell your customers expired food. You're a brand name; rotate your inventory. Hire more stock associates. Everyone busy manning the self checkout or fulfilling online orders?? Shame that new innovative way to run a modern store has left you without the ability to keep long expired food off your shelves. The new theft free carts are really keen; the self check out lasers can detect a scan your produce and use probably AI to determine my precise kind of apple and it's intended cost. Meanwhile, packaged food sits months after expiration on your shelves. Awesome. Keep up the "good work"
Sincerely, Just another customer you can...
Read moreThe store is immaculate—clean, well-organized, and clearly well-maintained. It's a pleasure to shop in such a spotless environment, where every aisle is neatly stocked, and finding what you need is a breeze.
One of the standout features for me is the Deli Department. Not only do they offer an incredible selection of meats, but the Deitz & Watson products are top-notch. Whether you're picking up deli meats for sandwiches or grabbing some of their delicious cheeses, the quality is always exceptional. The staff in the deli section is truly fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to offer helpful suggestions or slice your meats just the way you like them.
The store’s selection of products is impressive, with everything from fresh produce to pantry staples, and the best part is the reasonable pricing. I’ve found that Weis consistently offers competitive prices without compromising on quality, which is hard to come by these days.
Overall, my shopping experience at Weis Market was a breeze. The friendly staff, exceptional product selection, and well-maintained store make it a place I’ll keep returning to. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great quality at...

Produce (watermelon) was once bought by myself and twice via DoorDash that is unfit for human consumption. That's THREE (3) times over the past month.
I trashed the 1st purchase and didn't say anything, because I'm a reasonable guy that will let a one-off go. I am also tossing the 3rd purchase and notified DoorDash.
I am currently sitting on the toilet with a trash can in front of me having diarrhea and vomiting all day from eating the 2nd purchase I thought would be ok. It was not, and there's no telling how high the load was of bacterial contamination that existed on the borderline-rotten melon that caused my symptoms in addition to flu-like achiness and a low-grade fever.
I am not dying, and am not going to the doctor with GI upset like a fool, but it is completely unacceptable to be selling food of this quality REPEATEDLY.
I am definitely calling the store manager when I can speak without vomiting and probably the health department.
This is exactly the kind of negligence that kills the very old and very young. Clearly this location should be renamed Scheiss Market until they get their...
