Service was interesting. We were a bit confused by it if we are being honest. It wasn’t bad, just different. We had a few different servers, not just one so we weren’t sure if anyone was really responsible for our table. They also seemed super unhappy to be there which is weird because they only opened a few weeks ago. The food was average. Not good, not bad, just there. It was pretty cheap though. Pancakes were a hit. I would get those again. Sausage was just okay, but too greasy. The home fries were I consistently cut and super soggy. It was almost like eating chunky mashed potatoes. The eggs Benedict was okay. Up in the air if we would go back and try some other things.

If you've ever been to Gullifty's, this place will seem vaguely familiar. The original wood paneling brought me back to the early nineties. The roast beef in my triple decker sandwich was tough and difficult to chew (that could be early fixed) but the fries, and the chicken wrap my dining partner got were very good. The prices weren't too bad, and our server was very friendly. We'll be back to try out breakfast.

Update 12/24/2024: decided to give this place another shot. Yes, on Christmas Eve. And boy was it worth it. So much better. Food, service, everything. Ask for Mary Kate, she was excellent. 8/2024: This place is still very new. It will hopefully get better. If you really want diner food, go to their other diner, the silver spring diner. They know what they are doing there.

I wish I could give a zero star review. I should have known better when I walk in at primetime dinner hour at 5:30 and the restaurant is completely empty. But I figured it was a new place and it's kind of in the back behind some other shops and maybe people just are not aware it was there. So I ordered dinner and it came with a side salad and when she brought the salad out there was a large piece of hair blatantly laid on top of the dressing that there is no possible way that the waitress did not see it. It wasn't down within the salad, It was across the top of the dressing. I asked for a new salad and I got a nasty attitude but I did get a new salad. The roast turkey that I ordered was supposed to be all white meat as stated on the menu. It was mostly dark meat. I sat and chatted with a friend and for an hour and They decided that they're going to clean the floor with some really smelly cleanser right around our feet and our bench when the entire rest of the restaurant was empty and they could have begun in other areas. We brought it to the gentleman's attention that this stench of the cleaning product was bothering us and asked if he could clean in other parts of the restaurant and we were blatantly told no. I went to talk to the owner as we were paying and the waitress told me he was busy and couldn't talk with us. I told her that's fine. Please tell him that we will never return and we will be happy to spread our negative reviews about the restaurant. We were there until 8:00 at night and not a single other person walked in. I guess there's a reason for that. Save your money or use it at the many other multiple good diners...

Was really excited to try this restaurant after it was recommended. Arriving with my party of 4 around 11:15am, I was surprised and happy that it wasn't too crowded. No waitress came to our table for at least 15 minutes. After that, we did not receive our water for close to another 30 minutes. Our food arrived at 12:30, at which point I needed to immediately leave for an event. There was no apologies for the wait or no updates on when food would be ready. I told the waitress I personally needed to leave and asked for a box. After a few minutes with no box, I had to leave and had my friend pack it up. My egg and cheese sandwich didn't come with cheese and a friend's medium rare steak was very well done. I would have been understanding if wait times were given or an explanation of the slowness was shared, but after over almost an hour and a half for incorrect food and a headache while waiting, I am...

I recently had the pleasure of eating at this place and I have to say, it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by two amazing waitresses, Chloe and Makenna. They were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, making sure I had everything I needed with a smile. Their welcoming attitude made the meal even more enjoyable.

And let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible! The cook went above and beyond, preparing my meal even better than I had expected. Everything was cooked to perfection, with flavors that truly stood out. You can tell they put real effort and passion into their cooking.

Great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere—what more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for a top-notch...
