I am ABSOLUTELY appalled at the way I was treated inside of this store today by 'Tracey the General Manager'. Honestly what a joke.
I purchased a 265 dollar printer for one hour pick up. Shortly after purchasing it, I realized that it was the wrong model, AND that my debit card had massive fraud on it and needed to be shut down.
Knowing it would need to be returned, I called both the Willow Grove Staples, AND the Bensalem Staples to ask if I could come in with my receipt and return the printer for a store card so I could buy a new printer at my leisure, both stores saying I could and that it'd be no problem.
WELL. I get to the Feasterville Staples, patiently waiting in line to explain the problem listening to Tracey verbally abuse a customer before me for something minute, I realized this was not going to be as uncomplicated as it should be.
In the midst of me speaking and trying to explain my problem, Tracey cut me off and said, 'Mhm, okay. I'll just abandon your order and it will go back to your card'. I explained again that at that moment, I didn't have a debit card, and I would be perfectly happy with store credit. She told me that my card had not been charged yet, she's 'just not going to give you what you want. Sorry hon, I'm too busy' [Btw, surprise, Surprise, my card WAS charged], and that 'I don't know what kind of bank YOU HAVE, but mine refunds my routing number' ................... WHAT?
I informed her that both my sister and her boyfriend work at Staples, both of which confirmed this shouldn't be any problem at all, and she STILL was giving me a hard time. She finally agreed to do the return and said 'I'll do it but it's going to be a store card, there's no way you're getting cash' when I told her a store card was what I wanted from the beginning, she rolled her eyes, tried to scan my ID into the system, and told me that because it wasn't scanning I couldn't do the return. Being a former retail associate, I know first hand that ID's need to be manually entered for a return, she just didn't want to help me at all.
About ten minutes later, the whole time being extremely shaded by a GENERAL MANAGER, the return was complete. She put her hands on her hips and said 'So what did you want to buy? I'll keep the card up here while you look around'. When I told her that was absolutely not going to happen, she handed me the card and literally screamed, 'I DID IT THIS TIME AS A COURTESY, BUT NEXT TIME, NO WAY!!!!!!'
I don't even know what was so wrong about the return for her to treat me the way she did! She was acting as if I was the kingpin of some sort of buy a printer online and return it FOR A GIFT CARD scheme!
I have never felt so degraded in my entire life for trying to return something I PURCHASED NOT EVEN 3 HOURS PRIOR, WITH MY MONEY, for a GIFT CARD. Considering the massive power trip she is on, I am sad for her coworkers, and the company for allowing such a hateful person to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI frequently handle my marketing and printing for my startup business Journeys In Bloom, and one day, while stopping by Staples for brochure printing, I was warmly greeted by a wonderful woman named Yulia. Since that very first visit, she has become my go-to for all my marketing and printing needs.
Yulia is the epitome of professionalismācourteous, detail-oriented, and unbelievably hardworking. What truly sets her apart is her genuine care and kindness. Even when the line is long and the store is busy, she remains calm, patient, and incredibly accommodating to every single customer. Her dedication and warmth shine through in everything she does.
Yulia doesnāt just do her jobāshe elevates the entire experience. She represents the Staples brand and store with excellence, grace, and heart. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Staples store is the worst one Iāve ever been to. The only reason I went to this location was that the one down the street didnāt have the plastic cover for my printouts, and they directed me to this store. I called ahead and mentioned that I had a release number, but the person who answered was rude and kept insisting that I had to do it online. I asked why I couldnāt handle it over the phone, and she repeatedly said I couldnāt. When I arrived, I had the barcode for the printout, and she told me to just give her the code. It didnāt make sense why I had to go in person to provide the code if it wouldnāt be used. Ultimately, she informed me that she couldnāt print my truck decals because of PennDOT. Iāve been to three different Staples locationsāone in New Jersey and two in Pennsylvaniaāand Iāve never experienced this issue before. I tried to explain the situation, but they kept insisting they couldnāt help me. They didnāt show me any policy stating they couldnāt assist, so I asked for a supervisor, but he was even less helpful. Let me clarify: PennDOT has nothing to do with truck decals; that falls under federal jurisdiction. Despite my efforts to explain this, he continued to say they couldnāt assist me and claimed that other Staples locations were breaking the law. I left feeling very upset and will never return to this location. Thanks...
