I had a terrible experience with this company which resulted in me NOT Obtaining a purchase . This firm is a seller on 1st dibs—excellent at bombarding you with generic emails But in a crisis not at all . The seller after a series of personal messages sold my chosen item then wished me happy holidays when I expressed my dismay.. I did not get a warning or red flag from her or the company she colludes with online that there was a blip. Fantastic greed and overt exploitation . Avoid disappointment. Shop in person. Obtain Authentic assurances and examine your item. Ignore the seductive but tainted lure of this company to its treasure trove. I suspect my ring was probably a replica —it’s all a cruel disheartening ruse. Bottom line is like a pimp, 1st dibs gets them the highest price so on my case a competitive offer suddenly appeared and 1st dibs derailed mine —without an explanation or warning. I have the honor of acquiring a vintage 1970s, oversized Cartier pendant from Fortrove. It is truly one of a kind. This is one instance where pictures did not do the piece justice. It was not until I saw a video on this pendant that I realized how special this piece of jewelry really was/is.
