Andale is our favorite Mexican/Latino restaurant on the planet. It is INFINITELY superior in every way to Taco Bell, Chipotle, California Tortilla, Las Margaritas, and most other Mexican joints that we have ever tried, especially with respect to taste. Literally ALL of the food is fresh and delicious. The service is relatively fast and polite. The prices are competitive considering the actual amount of food received. Andale does not skimp on pricier ingredients, like some restaurants do. They patiently tolerate talkative/annoying customers and make your order in front of you (a mere few feet away), so you need not worry that someone will contaminate your food, either intentionally or accidentally. The bowls and burritos are exceptionally tasty. You cannot go wrong with the steak, fish, chicken, pork, or beef. Try all of them! Or you can just get a salad or vegetarian bowl or burrito, if you are into that. The store is tiny, but we always take out. I am shocked that anyone would rate this fantastic establishment anything less than five stars. This is not a $200-a-plate Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Get over it.

This place is a GEM! Stopped in here with my mom for lunch today because we were in the area for a drs appt and when I say the experience was amazing from the second I walked in the door to the second I left I mean it! The owners are so sweet and genuine and really helped me and my mom figure out what to order because we had no clue! We got the cubana sandwich and the birria tacos and shared them and they were the best I have ever had. So fresh, the salsas were amazing and the staff was extremely helpful. They also have an amazing mission where they feed starving children throughout the city each week with a school bus food truck on wheels. What an amazing place with an amazing vision. Seeing beautiful people give back in such a lovely way. I cannot wait to bring everyone I know back here. Thank you so much for an authentic and personable dining experience. Update to Reza: my dad loved his sandwich but it took everything in me not to eat it on the way home. LOL So delicious and such a good vision can’t wait to come back!

I've been eating at Andalé since close to when it first opened. This is hands down, my most favorite Latino food place to visit. My only problem is deciding what to eat when I visit because I have literally tried everything, and because everything is so good it's hard to pick! The owner puts a lot of thought into new menu items before he puts them on the menu and it shows. The pizzas are unique (steak or CUBAN pizza? Yes, please!!) but both extremely good. The bowls, there's nothing else like it with the Tex/Mexican/Latin "bowl" competition, if I had to pick I'd choose Andalé every time. The sandwiches are phenomenal, my wife can't help but ask for bites of my sandwich when I order one. They added fried cheese to the menu so on my last visit I had to try them, the breading was flavorful and not completely dependent on the side sauce, and I definitely would get it again. Go here, order anything. Oh, that's a good choice. You will NOT be disappointed.

The best Latin food around. I've been here twice and both times I was blown away with how good the food is. The first time I got the empanadas (chipotle chicken and chicharron) and they were so good. They came with a chipotle sauce and I got a side of chimichurri and I could eat those every day. I liked them so much I paid for frozen ones that weren't fried so I could make them myself. On that trip I also got the street tacos with chicken and again some of the best tacos I've had.

On the second trip I went with some friends and we tried everything we could. The standout dish was the arepa. I've never had one before and the owner said you can really only find them in one other place in the city. You have to try it. Just writing this review I'm already planning my trip back.

Finally the service was exceptional. My buddy dropped a giant water bottle he brought in and we offered to mop it up for them but the employee insisted on doing it himself. He proceeded to mop it all up while roasting my friend in a light hearted way. We sat down and the food was brought out to us quickly and very hot. Everything was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced.

There's a chipotle that just opened up next door and I'm afraid what it will do to this extraordinary small business. Go support local family owned restaurants. I promise it will be...

I went to Andale's this week. Let me say I've frequented this spot in the past but Monday was a little different. A white woman walked in before me and she must've been a regular there because everyone greeted her with smiles and warm hellos. Once she left, it got quiet as a mouse. The owner walked by me twice and didn't say a word, the other female employee walked by me twice and didn't say a word and the other female employee just looked at me and didn't say a word. NO ONE greeted me. NO ONE said anything until I said, "Are yall on break or something?" Then the owner told me that he'd be right with me. I got my food and left because I realllllllllllllllllllllllly wanted those dag on tacos. When I got back to work I called and complained to the owner how I felt there was some racism going on there because how is that they could speak to the white woman but not greet me? His reply was, "...it wasn't intentional." I told him that it felt pretty intentional to me because they intentionally didn't speak...LITERALLY! He asked me to accept his apology and said he'd address it. I assume he's going to address it with himself too. I told him I'll never step foot in there again. This is for the blacks, go where you AND your money are valued...and its not at this place!!!! You only get 1 chance to...

I was actually so excited to try this place as there is not many Latin option in the area. When I walk in, the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WE ALL CRY FOR THE ONION SMELL I had to tell the server to do something about it as we were all crying and didn't even order Yet but I wanted to try as a Latin person! The place is ok, it has the idea of Spanish food but not truly auntenthic as I thought it would be. We order empanadas they were 3.5 ok flavor I also order arepas and they were 3 ok flavor. Service was ok nothing out of the extraordinary. I was truly hoping more for this place. To the owners. Please watch the place more you have the idea but need to implement more flavor more Hispanic flavor to the meat, the beans and rice; it could be better and impact more as a Latin idea. The arepas are way to dry, you could add butter a little bit more to add more flavor or more cheese once you put it in the warmer machine. Also you need to push the server to keep the place more clean, the server trow it everything around trying to provide a quick service but it didnt gave me a good image or feeling, i wanted to try the dessert but once I pay i had to run out, we all were crying including the baby. I HAD NEVER EXPERIENCE THIS ONION SMELL! It...
