We came by tonight for dinner. This is our second time coming by this location, we've been here before and were disappointed. And yet again, we are disappointed. The food was abnormally greasy, especially the supreme quesadilla. My husband had to wipe his quesadilla down with several napkins because of how greasy it was and it was poorly put together. My burrito was skinny and only had three shrimps in it, despite the price and wait for the food. The young man working the window didn't seem to care at all about the fact that he made a mistake on our order. Two forgotten items, one of which was out of stock and we weren't made aware when we were ordering, we were only told rudely at the window when we asked for it since it was missing. The food in comparison to our favorite location (50th and Q) is nowhere near as good, much lesser portions, and paired with poor service. We tried this one again for benefit of a doubt, plus it's closer to our home. But from this point forward, we'd rather drive an extra 10 minutes then come to this location again. Management at this location needs to better train their employees, teach them proper service skills and have standards set up for them, so that this is not a reoccurring issue, as it is. As a pair of dedicated food service workers, we'd love to hear back from management/ownership of...
Read moreI was looking forward to trying this place based on the online reviews. I was severely disappointed. Used napkins and drinking straw wrappers littered the floor and the drink station was covered in sticky dried soda. The iced tea is instant, not fresh brewed. All tables had crumbs and spills.
I ordered a combo with enchilada, tostada, rice & beans. Total was $16 including drink and chips, which are not complimentary. The food was served in a styrofoam clam-shell container and the tostada was laying on top of the enchilada and beans and was already too soggy to lift. The entire container was a sloppy mess. The beef was very dark and dry as if it had been reheated several times. The plastic forks proved no match when trying to cut the enchilada. No knives were available so I improvised with the edge of a spoon. I took a bite of each item, tossed it in the trash and walked through the door for the last time. It wasn't the worst Mexican food I've had but it's ranks in the bottom five.
Most of the reviews are lauding the burritos and it was probably my mistake for choosing a combo instead. Maybe the burritos are quite good. I hope so, because what I was served would not allow them to remain in...
Read moreI’m so disappointed in the food I just received. First of all the menu prices are not accurate so expect to pay more. We ordered 2 sausage, potato, egg and cheese burritos. We waited at the drive thru for 25 minutes for our food. We thought “well at least it will be fresh” but that was far from the truth. The sausage was sausage links cut into little pieces and they were burnt! The eggs were way over cooked so they were tough and dry. We were charged a dollar extra PER burrito for the potatoes which were actually just French fries…Each burrito was about $8! Absolutely ridiculous! We also got an order of 3 pancakes which were $4.99, the only item that was actually good and a large coke that tasted like Pepsi. In total we spent over $24 which to me is way too much for what we received. The burritos were inedible and we ended up only being able to eat less than half before our stomachs started to feel sick. I feel like I just wasted my money. Needless to say we will never be returning. There are far better and cheaper places to order breakfast...
