Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Lubbock

On October 7th, 2017... we had schedule a birthday party for my daughter who was turning 3 years old. It was suppose to be a celebration with friends and family. Instead when we arrived for our party at 10am, most of the employees were sitting in the curb. They seemed embarrassed to come and tell us the manager had not arrived. These poor employees did everything in their power to help make the situation better. Finally around 10:30 a manager finally arrived. Once inside the employees quickly got to their spots to make pizza and try to carry on with the party. My family was upset and my daughter remained upset through the experience. Finally after 45 minutes we boxed up the pizza and went to a different location to celebrate the party. No manager ever approached me about the issues. They did make modifications to our price but we still paid almost 50% of our original price tag. Even after it was a complete disaster. I would never recommend having a birthday party at this location due to the lack of leadership shown. My family and friends plan to never return and plan to spread the word about how horrible the experience was. The horrible part of the situation was the looks on these poor employees faces who tried to do their best to help when it wasn't their fault for the lack...

Very disappointed in this place on 04/12/19 we went in an hour before they closed and we understood that they explained to us they will be closing in an hour if that was fine so we order pizza as well. Fast forward to one hour still no pizza and they also announced they were now closed and I explained to my husband we still did receive our pizza I was keeping an eye out as well to see if our buzzer went off when pizza came out one of them ladies right before she announced she placed a pizza on a table where everyone was sitting and playing and left it their and we went up the part where u pick up your order and told them we never got our food and so she went to the table where she originally placed the pizza on the table with a bunch of other people were sitting and where the kids were playing and picked it up and brought it out and placed it in the back and told us this was it and to mention that pizza was out for 20 minutes and expected us to eat it cold and take in a to go box ..(Excuse me if I wanted it to go I would have ordered pizza hut not come all the way to chuck e cheese I'm not satisfied with this place ) I did ask for refund and we did end up eating else where I will never go to this place again its not worth it and plus lady was rude about...

My granddaughter turned 7, and she wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese. We had a party pkg, food and cake included. It was moderately busy, 3 birthday parties. Ours started at 12:30. Staff was nice and efficient. Our birthday girl has 2 sisters, one younger and one older, they had lots of play time, and could play games, and get on rides easily. It was a fun day, all of us played games to earn lots of points for the girls! My only disappointment in the day was my gentle, calm youngest granddaughter, she's 5. She asked for Chuck E all the time we were there. We kept telling her to wait, he was coming. When he finally came out, escorted by a couple staff, he came to the middle of the dance floor. She lit up, huge smile, she kept saying Chuck E, waving non stop. She slowly walked over toward him, in awe of him. No one was near Chuck E, she shyly walked up to him, reached out gently, touched his hand, then tried to hold his hand. Chuck E pulled his hand away, held his hands up by his shoulders, like he got cooties. My granddaughter stood looking at him for another minute, not sure what to do next. Then she ran to play and didn't even come back for...
