Look, I am not a gift card buying guy. Theast 5 orn10 yearsbot takes away what you put actual thought or feeling into a gif. Personally cmon with that card $$$$. Lol. So this past week I have not been in a best buy for years. I went. Never enjoyed long lines and Christmas out before Halloween. I owe a apology to Best Buy. Clean welcomed and acknowledged open clutter free all staff was staying busy wellbstocked no empty shelves. Then there they were. Gift card heaven. So just 2 cards THIS visit. The cashier was....now I've been in the restraunt industry 36 years. I know exactly to create smiles positive google reviews and repeat business. May I say. If someone can find out who she is. As honestly just who she is. Yiu cannot train smiles. Genuine interest engaged and started different topics and conversation. As soon actually before I got the register she already had me. Smiles eye contact concern of my experience. Yeah yeah ok ok. I've seen it before. What was rare and a lost direct reason why some may even be offended and will never come back. To finish with this....She was happy this wasn't just a paycheck. As my guests come to pay for a service...well that's my job...1 way to go through the motions and say next in line please. Or what I experienced and what I know separates even myself from a majority of current stagg and management. The glow the dealer as soon as you meet any doubts and misconceptions and last time I was here this happened. No no no. She was exactly not even close to any of that. She was more than an employee she was my neighbor a friend a helper empathtic and set the the short time we would engage to already have my next visit to Best Buy a promise. That my friends is excellence and just good old fashioned guest first service. Congragulations and I am very jealous that you found her before she could have came and worked for my guests. I bought a refurbished phone with case and screen protector several days ago. The electronics lady told me the screen protector install was included with the phone. Unfortunately, I know very little about screen protectors. I got home and realized the screen protector was not installed. I opened the box to the screen protector and honestly I didn’t really know what I was looking at. I didn’t realize the screen protector was never installed and I accidentally ruined it once I opened the box. Once I realized what happened, I threw the screen protector away since it was now trash. I went back the next day to get this resolved and was told by the electronics lady that they would fix it as it was their mistake. She told me I would have to do an exchange for the screen protector. The customer service lady would not do an exchange because I threw away the screen protector even though the electronics lady said that was not a problem. The customer service return lady said I would have to buy a new screen protector and pay an install fee even though they told me the install would be free. Now I have to do a credit card dispute because they would not fix their mistake. I had brought a bag full of everything that needed to be returned and fixed. I just dumped the bag on the return counter and threw the bag on the ground. Then the greeter had the balls to tell me to have a good day.

All data was in a single file without differentiation, meaning that some information, such as user data from games and whatnot was next to and in the same folder as OS data and bios data without file or folder names for anything just random numbers and letters. It has been an absolute mess trying to find out what's supposed to be where. Complete waste of time and money. Definitely should have just done it myself for much cheaper and without all the extra hassle and wasted days.

For whatever reason my phone didn't take the pictures I thought it took so I'm going to do this review without pictures and here's what you need to know before coming to this location

keep in mind parking is wide open but they have a lot of spots designated for delivered to go at your car or vehicle

this is pretty much your only option in Lubbock Texas to be able to get access quickly did a hardware you need

The thing I want to focus on besides the fact that I was impressed with the organization of this Best buy compared to some other Best buys was the customer service this Black Friday morning

The staff throughout the front and back were friendly professional knowledgeable and I am grateful to say left a positive impression on me despite being somewhat busy with a multitude of people shopping around some deals today

came in and found a charger I needed at a discount actually universal chargers I'll be able to use this for my computer repair business for different kinds of laptops that clients bring me but what happened was I came out of town to visit family for Thanksgiving and forgot the charger for my laptop and need to get some work done

so super grateful they had an abundance of this 65 watt universal charger at a discount which matched what their website showed and was able to shop around some deals and solid state drives hard drives and other computer hardware for my computer repair business as well as an abundance of Mac products including the Mac minis which are a phenomenal option for someone on the budget with some firepower have access to an Apple Mac computer

had to check out the gal was super friendly knowledgeable and was able to get me checked out in minute and keep the traffic going and literally I believe checked out 20 people including myself in less than 5 minutes which was thoroughly impressive compared to other Best buys where it takes quite a while to just get people checked out

I did not use the restrooms in order to get a chance to really take advantage of exploring some of their other Black Friday deals but I will say that this is the spot to come to and Lubbock Texas for anything and everything tech and if I was still doing my computer repair business I would probably be married to this location as a critical computer hardware source with an abundance of inventory compared to some other Best buys that hardly have anything

they also had an abundance of desktop computers on sale that were quite impressive including an Nvidia video card GPU complete desktop build starting at $600 that was quite impressive with a 1 TB NVMe SSD which again is getting harder and harder to find a that kind of price point with the new Intel 14th generation processors which I really haven't found too many negative reviews on yet so if you're looking for also a gaming machine at a discount this might be the place to go to instead of going blind online

also the place was well lit organized spotless with a lot of emphasis on customer service at the door and throughout the building from my experience today highly recommend this location if you are looking for in Lubbock Texas anything tech related this is going to be your...

Best Buy in store staff is informative and great. My sole issue which occurred December 5th picking up an online order and January 25 (last night) picking up another online order for curbside pickup. There are 6 designated curbside pickup spots available on the property. I was one of two parked and waiting. The extremely rude and sarcastic loading guy approached my curbside spot #1 and told me to pull up and park in the marked fire lane which marked with a red curb and no parking. This is a huge issue with me and I explained to that employee it was a fire lane and not a loading area. I went through this very same issue on December 5th. Cars and trucks were parked all along this fire lane illegally parked waiting on the extremely slow loading staff who don’t give a damn about your safety as cars have to navigate through the illegally parked vehicles waiting for loading. Last night was the worst and the employee laughed and mocked my concern about the fire lane. This is apparently not an issue for Best Buy. It will be an issue I intend to take on with the Lubbock Fire Marshal as this is not for Best Buy to decide who parks in the MARKED fire lane. Best Buy is not going to pay for your vehicle when it is damaged by another vehicle in the fire lane that they themselves caused by telling customers you must park there for pickup. Best Buy will not reimburse you for the ticket you will inherit for being illegally parked in that fire lane. This is the second time I raised this issue with Best Buy. They WILL NOT deliver your order to the designated curbside pickup spots as they are too lazy to cross that fire lane to one of those six spots of which I legally was parked in. Thanks Best Buy for considering nobody’s safety in picking up products from your Lubbock store. There are many other places that sell the same items as you and I am sure have a lot more consideration for their customers safety and concerns without mocking them and laughing at them. I for one will consider those other choices and will cancel my Best Buy membership. Customers mean nothing to you. Update: I have seen and followed up with the reply from the owner (Aaron) and reached Best Buy call center in Minnesota. I assure anyone that regardless of the owner response, nobody with Best Buy in Minnesota cares about your issues with Best Buy in Lubbock, Texas and I mentioned google review #64729456 and it was foreign to them. They suggested contacting the store, I have twice and I assure you they don’t give a damn about your concern. The best way to resolve this is through the fire marshal as I stand firmly behind my review that Best Buy does not give a damn about your safety or...

I am completely disappointed with a company that I have always held in such high regard above all other retail stores. I tried to return an item last night. I was told I couldn’t. So I left the store and called the Best Buy customer care line….. Everything about Best Buy is quite literally terrible. I had to call into customer care 4 times, first time I was being transferred and the car was dropped. I did not receive a call back. The second call was even more horrendous as Natasha the “customer care representative” advised me that she was not able to transfer calls. Third call I spoke with a representative for over 30 minutes before I was able to actually get a supervisor on the phone…… Anna, the “supervisor” on duty- this woman advised me that she found my receipt and said to go on and head back to the store because they would be able to exchange the item with no problems. I verified and confirmed this information with her prior to returning to the store. I get back to the store. The cashier is unable to find the receipt! I then attempt to call the customer care phone number one more time, while I was quickly going through the telephone prompt to be able to speak with a customer care representative I was approached by what appeared to be the manager on duty at this specific store, amidst all of this frustration and chaos, I am told from the manager that I needed to come back tomorrow because they were closed. This was at 9:14pm so 14 minutes after they had closed I was being told that I needed to come back the following day. Clearly this specific store needs to provide customer service training to its employees, including the a management staff! Incompetence to the highest degree and the worst part is that it was not just the retail store it was also every customer care agent that I spoke with at the call center! Best Buy clearly needs to implement some customer service training for these individuals and teach them how to actually do their job…… Get it together Best Buy- This would never be an issue if I had purchased my item through Amazon because they actually care about...
