Update: My husband and I went back in today and had a wonderful experience. The young lady who helped me initially admitted she was still learning the shoes. She immediately contacted someone else to come assist me but she stayed so she could learn as well. The. The same associates went over to help my husband. At checkout, the second gentleman (the one who was called to help) double checked with us to make sure we were satisfied. A lesson to all in retail, just one or two words can make the difference in someone’s entire day!!! Star changing visit!
I came in on 6-29-2020 prepared to buy two pairs of shoes. I had a photo of what I was looking for and my husband was also walking around trying on different styles. By the time we had been in approximately 15 minutes, I had questions but an associate never asked if I could be helped. The associate who greeted me at the front was WONDERFUL, but as I shopped the other associates were “too busy” for me to catch them or were visiting with women much younger in tight athletic clothing. By the time an associate finally asked me if I needed help, I was frustrated and DONE. I left with no shoes in hand. I will try this Nike store again, but it will not be my first go to. Frumpy late 40’s women need...
Read moreNothing against the store or the employees. Just sad that Nike had to dive directly into the political arena in an 'in your face' manner that does not go over well here in Lubbock. Our boy will not be wearing Nike apparel in any shape, form or fashion for the rest of his high school career, and our daughter will not wear a single Nike item for the next 9 years of her school career. We will not set foot in this store ever again due to the brand. When Nike glorifies kneeling during the National Anthem when the flag is honored, and advertise that means 'sacrificing everything', my kids understanding will be that it is a direct, insulting slap in the face to everybody who has family lying beneath a white headstone in one of our national cemeteries who truly did sacrifice everything for the country and the flag. The only way I will ever set foot in that store is to see if Nike forces their outlets to put up...
Read moreDont waste your time here. Order online. I purchased some shoes online. The shoes went on sale online within 3 days. Website policy says a store can furnish the difference within 14 days, easier if you are a Nike member, which i am. Was told by manager i have to return shoes to store, get credit, then reorder my shoes(during holiday rush), and basically opposite of what website said in print. So a bust. Decided to buy my son some shoes from back wall, and asked for a box top(again web reviews on site say to ask), and was talked to roughly by the 2 cashiers . Only when they noticed i was looking at their name tags did they ask on on their mics if any lids available, which they then said no. Worst experience ever. Btw, the shoes purchased are the Alphafly, and i would have saved $70! And that is with receipts AND im a Nike...
