I love chipotle and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I went to pick up my order 5 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and had to wait several minutes to get attention of a staff member. They were making the meal of what seemed to be an employee who just got off and turned a one person job into a 3 person job. Once I finally was able to get someone’s attention they informed me that mine wasn’t ready. Then I stood there for at least 5 more minutes as they cleaned up and started closing for the night. I was at this point waiting for over 10 minutes for food that should’ve been ready 15 minutes ago. The store closed at 11 and I ordered before it was even 10. I find it very rude and disrespectful to choose closing down instead of completing a customer’s order who is standing right in front of them. I finally got my food and drink cup. I went to get my drink and half of the sodas they offer were out of syrup. The lids were everywhere and trash was overflowing onto the counter. I got home to enjoy my long anticipated meal to find salsa leaking out of the cup that had been improperly sealed and to top it all off the chips were stale… I am a frequent customer and have been very fond of chipotle for some time, but this was very disappointing to...
Read moreWow! Where do I even start.. The price, let's start there.. 24.90 for one steak burrito.. queso, 3.00 for a drizzle. Guacamole, 4.00 for a spoon full. 6.00 for three little extra pieces of steak.. I almost had a heart attack when the little "they/them" individual rang up my burrito. Not a single word that all this would cost extra. I honestly figured for 12.00 those things wound be included.. wrong!! Now, let's get to the worst part.. The rice on the burrito wasn't even cooked all the way. Hard pieces of rice are not enjoyable.. Al dente Rice is what I was told when I questioned the level of cooking done to the rice. Everything was so spicy with fresh green jalapenos in every dish.. Not good, too pricey, undercooked.. Took me 20 years to try this place.. it'll take me a lifetime to forget how "horrible" it was.. I truly can't believe this business model had made it. I give it 5 years and the experiment known as "Chiptole" will be gone from human history.. I...
Read moreHonestly, my wife and I love chipotle food. It’s one of our Go-Tos when ordering takeout. However, they have proven to have a poorly designed online ordering platform. By this, I mean, that ordering online (in ever other business) is supposed to be a faster method than waiting in line. This is not the case at chipotle. They consistently prioritize In-Person orders by having a minimum of 3 people working the line for in-store orders, and only 1 preparing online orders. They have completely missed the concept of online orders. I have sat in the store for 30 minutes while watching 20 people (no exaggeration) walk in, order in-person, then leave before my order was even started. That is ridiculous. DO NOT “ORDER AHEAD” at Chipotle because in reality, you are ordering behind. Go in to the store and don’t make the same...
