World Market — Local services in Lubbock

I ordered an item, (which would have been a birthday gift) last night (7/2) at around 11:34PM. At the time it said there was 2 remaining. Somehow overnight before they even opened they managed to sell the two remaining because when i called to confirm it was ready for pickup they could not find the item and offered the display model. I asked to speak with the manager who identified themselves as Chelsea? They also said the store manager (Pat) was unavailable. They blamed the issue on the fact they had recently done inventory. She stated it could take over a week to correctly update LOL really. In this day and age you can update inventory systems across the nation with the click of the enter button. They are selling items they do not have? Possibly to get rid of floor models? This is completely unacceptable both Chelsea and Pat (if that is their real names) should be ashamed of themselves for running such a sloppy inaccurate unprofessional business as the leaders of that location. I will never shop there again and will tell my niece who the gift was for and who shops there frequently to avoid this...

a place of a variety of items depending on your particular taste for me just came out shop with the family didn't really find anything that I wanted I can see the pros and cons of what people would want here

parking was okay but I definitely would not say it's easily accessible for handicap to navigate

customer service was okay at the front but really non-existent throughout the rest of the building

Price is under the name items that I see at many other places is all right with a few unique items and a lot of focus on ramen some Japanese products anime products and very sort of random items

Won't go back. They do not support vets. Tried to sell me a 4 pack as 4 singles. Didnt even try to tell me that they did not sell the product in a 4 pack. They just wrung it up as 4 singles. When asked about it I was told that they are only sold as singles. My reply was that it is on the shelf as a four pack. Thats when they said we know and we are gonna go fix that.
