I absolutely love coming to Starbucks here in Duncan, simply because itās close to my home and bc there are a couple of employees there that know me due to me bringing my dogs and getting pup cups and also ordering the same repetitive thing just about every other day, which is āa Lemon loafā (in the wrapper). Sometimes I would literally pull up to the drive-through and not even have to say anything and they would immediately come through the intercom and say āhey there, two lemon loaves in the wrapper today, right?!ā To which I would proceed with responding to āyes please!ā They also would always remember my dogs, and would give me two pupcups for my furbabies. Iām not sure this managerās name, but she has colorful eyebrows, and she is super cute and very kind, and if it was not for her kindness today and her warming aura, I would have flipped out on the employee that proceeded to tell me I was not allowed to have my Lemon loaves in the wrapper. And HE had so much of an attitude, that this employee felt the need to tell me to discuss it with the manager, as it obviously was becoming a big problem for this employee interacting with me as a customer. Which goes to show that this employee does not know how to deal with the public or communication. All I saw from this employee was hostility and anger and rage. I can only imagine how this employee reacts at home if there is a disagreement or difference of opinion. I also totally understand policy and procedures when it comes to running a business as I own my own business, but it does not negate from the fact that Starbucks makes a ton of money off of me just about every other day, and if I want my lemon loaf that Iām paying a whopping 5$ for in the wrapper to keep it fresh, it should not be a problem. Especially if Iām not eating them right away and I want to keep them fresh. I honestly donāt see what the big deal is. I may have been more sympathetic, however, this employee, named Rowan, came at me in an extremely unprofessional manner. Clearly is a rookie employee to Starbucks as well.
When you come to an establishment, such a Starbucks for as long as I have, you tend to build a relationship with some of the employees which I did. Now I will never go back to this particular Starbucks because of this...

I was a very frequent customer until this morning! I order the same thing every morning. White chocolate mocha wit 2 extra shots of white chocolate and fresh blueberries oatmeal! Yesterday 4/4 I ordered the usual and my drink was very watered down so today I ordered my usual and addressed the situation from yesterday! Well no one really heard me and still proceeded to give me this nasty water down version of white chocolate mocha that almost scald my throat and mouth. When I addressed this situation the drive thru cashier assured me I could change it if I did not like it. She handed me the drink and would not even look at me and burst out laughing with the rest of the very undertrained kids she was working with. It almost seemed as if instead of saying they are out they are stretching it or either they do not know how to make it! Ordered through mobile app, a very simple easy order, same thing I have been drinking for 10 yrs + and when I went in the store to pick it up I was appalled at what the barista had the audacity to hand over to me, looked like throw up in a cup, literally. When I asked KERRY to please remake it she immediately started getting loud. Insinuating I donāt know how to order my own drink, basically extremely rude, zero customer service, just nasty attitude. In addition the side order of quad expresso was burnt? Canāt even explain the taste but highly do NOT recommend this location.
