Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Lynchburg

Ordered yesterday, order# 1237157213, and ordered the 5cheese garlic crust pizza custom with pep and green peppers on all, mushroom on half, on my way home. I chose pickup from here because it was on the way. Stopped and shopped for my Grandma while the tracker said it was cooking. Went into the store when the tracker said ready, but the cashier said it would be 2 or 3 more minutes. I went back to my car to explain to my Twin and waited the 3 minutes. Went back inside and the cashier said there was no order in my name and shrugged when I said he had just told me it was 3 minutes more, 3 minutes before. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager, so I asked for his boss and he gave me a # and called on the next customer. I stormed out and went back to my car to get my phone and verify my order was for this store and not showing picked up. I went back inside the store to call the # given and was told it was meant for him only, not for customers, and to have him call for help. He avoided calling and tried to address the next customer but I cut in and apologised, that the call was expected right now. Even so, this guy stuck by saying the order wasn't there for Remy... so for the 5th time I spelled REMMY and someone handed me the pizza! Imagine my relief and how it turned to disappointment when I got home and the pizza had no 5 cheese garlic crust... I wasn't going to write a review but I wanted to try that pizza crust, that is why I ordered it! Please give me a free pizza just like the one I was supposed to get, without all the hassle, that would be great and worth a...

Staff was polite and helpful-- kindly keeping our food warm for us though we were late picking it up.

Placed an order online for carryout tonight for two larges with their new garlic parmesan crust, an order of chicken poppers, and buffalo wings.

The cheese ration on the pizzas was great-- well balanced with the sauce and toppings. The crust was a bit flimsy for lifting to eat but, again, that's likely due to us being later than the specified 18 minutes they said it would take for our order to be ready. (Likely the sauce made the crust soggy, leaving us with wilted pizza-- totally our fault.)

The wings were a bit lacking in sauce unfortunately, would like to see more next time hopefully. However, the wings were very nice and meaty.

The chicken poppers were cooked well, nice and crisp-- a reliable choice for a side we've found before.

All in all not a bad experience-- will be ordering...

After waiting an hour for them to remake a pizza three times just so I could leave and get home in time for one of them to be barely warm. I called Papa Johns customer care team gave them all of the details about my experience. Never heard back from the store or any leader ship. Submitted another complaint about the order several days later, since they’re supposed to contact you within 48 hours. never heard anything again. Finally called again. Almost 2 weeks later just to find out, the store had resolved my issue without ever calling me and telling me they wanted to give me a free pizza. Needless to say, I had them delete my account. And will not be doing any future business with Papa Johns. They want the customer to do all of the footwork when it comes to having any issues, resolved rather than handling any of...
