ZERO STARS! WOULD NOT USE AGAIN. I guess because Kathryn's moved my review disappeared. Two years ago I ordered flowers from Kathryn's for my mother on Mother's Day. I rarely order flowers for Mom as I try very hard to find a more personalized gift for her special day. The flowers I had carefully selected online looked like they had fallen over inside the box & were left inside a hot truck all day. They were delivered on Friday & were dead by Sunday morning (MOTHER'S DAY!!!) I was mortified when my father described them to me. If I lived in the state of VA, I would have taken the flowers back to Kathryn's myself & demanded a refund. Since I do not, I called. The first person was nice and promised the owner would get back to me regarding a discount or possibly a refund/replacement. The second time I called, the girl seemed rather unconcerned but promised the owner would call me. Never heard from them & never received a discount/refund or replacement. Hopefully the service has gotten better but I'd be hard pressed to call Kathryn's for...

I've previously gone to Arthur's Flower Cart, but decided to give Kathryn's a chance. Mistake. The staff were very unprofessional, talking in the back about how they couldn't wait to get out of there and crack open a bottle of wine that night. They took so long to help customers that one guy said "I'd be better off going to Kroger" and left. Two minutes later another guy said "Yeah, that's a good idea, this isn't worth it" and left as well. When I was finally helped, the woman just said "what do you want?" and really offered no suggestions when I tried asking some questions.

Additionally, the staff were arguing about who was going to answer the phone. After about 15 rings, someone finally answered it and just said "sorry, we're not taking any more orders. We're swamped." Really?

I only give two stars because the flowers I received did look pretty good, for a decent price. Will not return. You're much better off going to Arthur's to get good customer servican as well as great flowers, even if it is a little...

I was a first time customer to Kathryn’s. I’ve always bought my wife a single red rose on V day so I called ahead and emphasized that I was paying with a debit card. I was given the all clear by whoever I spoke with and that my total would be $5.25. Upon arrival, I was informed that there is a $15 minimum purchase for debit cards and that I needed to buy more. I politely argued the case based on what I had been told and was given dirty looks by all 3 women behind the counter. One of them said, “You’re not going to buy a balloon or something?” Made me feel like an idiot with other people standing in line. With further disagreement, awkwardness, and reluctance they finally swiped my card for the agreed upon price. I will not be going to Kathryn’s again. I should have gone to Arthur’s Flower Cart on Timberlake. It’s less convenient for my location, but they have much better service and communication.
